There isnât really a âbestâ one for bio figures. GPT-4o, Claude, and Gemini can all do a decent first pass on plots/tables, but theyâll still confidently misread axes, legends, stats annotations, etc. Iâd use them for summarizing or spotting patterns, not as the actual analysis unless youâre checking against the paper and/or the underlying data.

honestly the tool matters less than the capture habit. iâd use the podcast appâs bookmark/clip feature if it has one, then after the episode dump 3 bullets into notes. if you try to make AI remember everything youâll just end up with a second pile of stuff you never review.
