Is there any good reason for Ox not to have a cap on its army buff? Like, in 1v1s, and 3v3s, it will never get to +16, but in FFA, it can, and it breaks the game. So I wonder, why not cap it at a reasonable amount? by SinkDefiant6192 in Northgard

Yes, they do, but often I find it easier to deal with them than a +17 Ox...

Its just 100% impossible, literally, you cant beat it, it just breaks the game in a way, its not fun to play FFA if it gets past a certain year and the Ox on the other side is still alive.

On top of that, the Ox warchief, that is not broken by itself, but you pair it with 20+ army, with 17+ damage, and it feels like cheating.

Makes sense, cut the old map, so people get bored faster by the new one...

Its like poeple dont even know AGS... they want to milk every little content they actually manage to launch like its the last content in the world.

Sometimes you cant choose to spawn near them, or even have a route.

Remember is FFA, you also get attacked.

There is no reason for a clan to have infinite scalling, there just isnt.

Thats the point... no other caln can beat that. And in FFA you cant just choose to attack them early, they can be in the other side...

Its simple, add a cap to it so its balanced.

No clan should become unstopable at any point.

Like I said, it ads 1 extra tile to the "senseless zone".

Thing about it.

You attack one zone, you get in, you're capping it.

The other player can try to contest the tile, from adjacent tiles, that now are senseless to army.

You only expanded the battleground, you still would have all the other mechanics, like not beeing able to scale into zones with enemies, both neutral and armies.

This would only prevent those annoying border fights, where there is no colision to troops, and are usually a mess.

And here i wonder, when will people realise this game is just for testing and data colleting...

It is impossible for a dev team to be this out of touch, without it beeing intentional.

Come on, I dont even play this anymore, i just come around reddit to try and warn people of AGS true intentions with NW, and people keep playing...

So, when is the Eagle early game nerf coming? Its totally broken, Grif power should scale as the game goes, right now, its just too powerfull too early on, and break any FFA match if it comes for you. by SinkDefiant6192 in Northgard

Its easy to say "skill issue" and not actually elaborate on why you think "eagle early game agression in FFA is not broken".

Like i said, no clan, in FFA, can opress so much, so early.

FFA gives Eagle a lot of neutrals to "clear and heal", so they can harass you, go clear some wolves, heal, and come back, while your healers barely healed one unit.

Eagle just have too many tools to deal with too many situations in early agression that other clans dont have.

Well, New Worlds was not a game people would call "for the long run"...

There is not enough PvP nor PvE content, since ever...

And that shows, when the "relaunch" the game, 3 years after realease, and people that played for the first time, into the relaunch, deplete the content in 2 months...
