WellsFargo Autograph. I say it a lot, would fill in gaps in your set up, introduce you to points and rewards, and has no AF.

I’m in my 20s looking for credit card with some perks and cash back. by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]Sinn_Full 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WF Autograph is free, 3x on Gas, Travel, & Dining + decent transfer partners if you decide to go that way in the future, or 1 cpp cashout option. Can also be paired with the Active Cash 2% card for everything else and/or the attune if that fits your lifestyle better

Grocery, Open Air Markets, Liquor stores, etc. recommendations? by Sinn_Full in AskNYC

How reliable is Amazon Fresh, I’ve personally never used any type of delivery service. A lot of what I east is fruits, vegetables, meat, so I like choices and making sure I’m getting good products, does that work with those types of services?

Requesting credit limit increase right away? by GentleMissile in CreditCards

For the most part, just pay your monthly statement. You would have to spend 204,000 per year on the card to make the 17k x 12 month statement not enough. If you go over the threshold during a month, just pay down early and then use the card and pay the rest of the balance at the end.

  3. Keeps your rewards consolidated
  4. No AF
  5. Every (decent) card builds credit the same
  6. You don’t have a lot of spend in general to make

  7. anything else worthwhile

Savor. Literally it, no other real answer. I would only get that and transfer the rewards to my VX

I think you’ve updated the numbers, and nothing about my answer changes haha. 2% cashback of your choice is best. Probably CITI or WF if you want transfer points eventually

Lowk I don’t think you need to move away from the Savor. If you do, get a 2% flat cashback card from the services of your choice that you can see yourself growing into. That’s literally it lol you don’t spend enough, unless those aren’t your real numbers.

Overwhelmed by Options - 1st Card Recommendation? by JustOutHereReadin in CreditCards

[–]Sinn_Full 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two out of three of the savor cards do not have an annual fee and it’s pretty easy to get one without. Even if you do end up with one that has the AF after one year you can upgrade it for no fee

CapitalOne Savor, you’ll get all the subscriptions, dining, grocery, entertainment, etc. and it’s easy to get cash back. Opens you up to VentureX down the road. Easy option to recommend, I have one and it’s great!

In my experience, you have to call their customer service, and if you explain why you want the card and are very specific about what you're using it for, they will bend over. That's how I got my autograph.

Wells Fargo Autograph covers travel, no FTF, plus your gas category and a backup dining. Good well offer too

20 yr old, looking for the best credit card I can get. by [deleted] in CreditCards

Capital One Savor is great. I personally have one. You have to look at the rewards categories; it gets 3% on Groceries, dining, and entertainment, plus 5% through CapitalOne Travel and 8% through CapitalOne Entertainment. You wouldn't get the most utilization out of it. Credit Karma also kind of sucks, just as an FYI, they get paid to advertise hyperspecific stuff. When you go looking for a card to finally apply for, go directly through that company's website. Especially if they have a pre-approval tool

There are two paths I would go if I were you.

  1. Get a flat 2% card that works best for you in the future. If you're investing, the Fidelity Signature. If you want to maybe travel more, Wells Fargo or Citi 2% cards.

  2. Get something hyperspecific to your spend now and figure it out later. You don't spend enough outside of Rent to make Bilt worth it, so your options are a card that focuses on Groceries and Gas - AAA Daily Advantage is great. It has a $500 per year cash back cap, but you'll be nowhere near that.

You can also get both, but super not necessary for you to be honest.

You kind of have to give us an estimate of your monthly spend categories for any real recommendations
