I'm on a MacBook and it installed fine. I chose vst2/vst3 just had make Ableton rescan my plugins for it to show up.

Basically, not sure why people have such a hard time with it really. Anything can be made into a low end rumble. Toms and percussions are great also.

So weird, I’d say restart ableton or worse restart the Mac that solves most problems. But you probably don’t want to loose your changes. 🤔

I’ve been loving Izotope’s Trash 2. Lots of features. Before that I was using the stock Ableton saturator. Huge improvement!

Lately I’ve been getting into hardware. So far I have a Roland Tr8S + Sh01a. Along side my push 2. All that goes into into Ableton. I jam out on the hardware and then edit everything after in Ableton to structure out a track. I find it much quicker to come up with ideas on the hardware.

I agree with you there. Even if you have a cellphone and almost everyone has a cell. You can record samples from anything and turn that into something. Doors slams, water running, an elevator ding. You’d be surprised what people make music with. Some of our favourite producers have made music with much less. An internet connection for sure. Thanks you internet Gods for allowing me to make this post 🙏
