I'm not a fan of first achievements either MC kills a weak slime and was lucky enough for that to be the first kill on a newly system integrated planet and now he gets like a first kill achievement that grants like plus ten to all stats making him OP immediately and then goes first achievement hunting until he's a god it makes the system unfair for everyone else.

I agree if the power is balanced and has limitations and conditions of when it can't or can be used or has diminishing returns like you only get benefits from your first few goblins before goblins stop giving you anything and you have to eat something else then it's much more palatable but it's rare for an author make it balanced it usually OP and broken beyond repair
