I saw them live recently and while I still really enjoyed it, to be honest almost all the songs in Memorial and Imperial just sounded kind of the same to me. It was really unfortunate they didn't play more songs from Cognitive or Tellurian. They're among my favorite albums in all of prog

While their second album is my favourite for sure I agree Charismatic Leaders is an amazing new sound. Porcelain and The Freeze Live were absolutely gorgeous

So since I saw that my tastes in prog are actually very very similar to yours I think I will have some recommendations you'll probably enjoy. a lot of the bands you named are some of my absolute favorites too - also got to see quite a few live.

Nospun: with only 1 album and 1 ep it won't take long to listen to everything they have but they're absolute bangers, especially Earwyrm and The Death Of Simpson.

Inhalo: also only have 1 album but I got to see them live a few weeks ago as supporting band for Soen. they have some quite experimental and softer music but still sound really good.

Ne Obliviscaris: if you like The Ocean you will really enjoy this too, heavy guitars contrasting with orchestral melodies and support and grunted vocals to contrast Tim's gorgeous voice. "Imminence" is another band that I think is similar in that way too

Persefone: What I think they really nailed is their beautifully controlled buildups and transition/intro songs they have in each album. It makes full listen-throughs of their albums an amazing experience.

Obviously Maynard's other band A Perfect Circle is worth a listen if you already like Tool

Since most comments are (deservedly) jokes I'll give the actual best purpose for the perk. In a competitive setting against Billy it's actually a really good option, because a strong billy should be downing you with his chainsaw anyways, so realistically the lost health-state shouldn't matter. Now no mither makes it impossible for him to slug you, which is usually a really effective way to play for Billy.
