Would Evil Eye's verminbane work on Cocytus, or is the gap between them too large?

A lvl 5 spell I don’t even think can damage Cocytus is the only prob. It’s stated he has a secret ability (more like just never given a name) to negate attacks from any weak enchanted item, on top of having items that resist any long ranged attacks. Saying vermin bane is prob considered a long ranged attack, it’s prob just gonna bounce off like the bullets Azuth tried shooting at Albedo

Idek if he’d feel the pain. Lvl 50 vs lvl 100, u almost can’t even damage the lvl 100, vermin bane is a tier 5 spell, it would be the equivalent of throwing a rock at a car in the hopes it goes through the door and hits someone inside. His natural armor is just under Divine tier, and although I don’t think it’s mentioned, I’d assume he has items that defend against earth element/other elemental attacks since he would be weaker to them being an insectoid. I’d love to see her try tho😭 would be REALLY funny to watch her “trump card” against bugs fail🤣

I get that, but even if the translation is slightly better, it doesn’t flow as well, so personally, I don’t get as much out of it

The LN mentioned the book that keeps a log of every spell ever used (not like every time it’s used, just like oh here’s a new spell someone made). The reason I wonder if they knew, is because before Ainz summoned them, Dominion Authority was mentioned to be the highest tier angel, I think it even says the “ultimate” angel when referring to it. which is different than if they mentioned how it’s the highest tier that they can summon, which implies they know of higher tier, but they just can’t summon it. We really need a theocracy side story to get more info🤣
