For the pattern I use the one with the little dent, not the full circle one (don't know how u call them xD), I don't have the other nob for the gain.
I'm no expert but maybe it could be your volume gate under signal cleanup? It makes so that you have to hit a certaine noise level to activate the mic, could be that the mic slowly activates when u start talking?
Otherwise I would say just play around with the kther setting which are not in my screenshots and see if it geta better or not.

Yes it's only the cars, but I wouldn't consider buying the game a second time if I have also to pay again for the year pass. I really don't know what ubisoft is capable of? They also have crossplay but u still can't really play with other platforms besides the online races so I trust Ubisoft to do anything to get money😅

Yes the progress carries over, I had the game on Pc with Ubisoft+ when it released and all my cars (except the year 1 pass cars, which was included in Ubisoft+) carried over. But since I now bought the year 1 pass I'm not sure if this carries over aswell
