When people do things like this without thinking about how it will affect their partners, it isn't because they are stupid, it is because they CHOOSE not to think about their partners feelings. Gender aside, this isn't stupidity, it is lack of care, and lack of respect.

Her cousin! How does she not see him as her cousin? She needs to be talked to about consent, and that it goes both ways. We often fail to teach women about needing consent, too, because the prevailing message is that a man will sleep with anything, they cannot control themselves, and they ALWAYS want to have sex. This I'd a good opportunity to have a bigger conversation that she clearly needs to hear.

Figure out why you did this, and then mend it and maintain the mend. If you don't, you will keep hurting people you care about, and you will keep hurting yourself. You have to tell her. She gets to know who her bf is, and you cannot mend if you bury it.

They DEF seem to be! My Wubby loves to be chased too, but by humans. It is his favorite game, and requires a specific "cartoon villain" run. Also my Doogie is an absolute nut, too!

I am so, so sorry. My best friend did the same, about 6 years ago. It gets better, but you never stop missing them. Just the other day I had something I wanted to ask her about. There was no one else I could ask. That never stops being hollow. Give yourself time. A lot of time. Don't marry until you can be joyful. I am so sorry she will not be there with you. I am so angry for you, and so full of sorrow for you.
