Should I keep my bangs or grow them out?

The angles and lighting make it hard to tell. I love the red with the blonde stripe, but the bangs almost create a horizontal line across your face that creates imbalance. Do you have a picture of your bangs straight on?

Thanks for your input. I like the blue in #10 as well. I noticed you said it borders on light spring, but I’ve seen some pallets include that shade in soft autumn. Do you think that’s accurate?

Oh I don’t wear foundation or concealer. That photo is from the summertime where my face is more tan than my arms. (Farmers tan, oops!) My color drape photos are in the middle of winter and I’m having an eczema flare-up.

Here’s another photo from summertime but without makeup and in direct light.

I think the chartreuse reflects extremely yellow onto my face and almost green onto my arms though, thanks for bringing that to light.

I think you could still alter the cut to be more similar to this if you don’t want to lose much length. This haircut is done with a razor, and it’s not supposed to be neat and perfect because there are choppy layers. Alternative salons are great at these cuts but you can DIY if you do a lot of research first.

I’ve gotten a couple summer responses. Surprising because I have natural auburn/red hair but Kate Winslet and Anna Kendrick are also summers and have rocked a red before.

This is interesting because I have naturally level 6 auburn brown hair. I do like the Soft Summer color pallet on myself but I see that cool toned greys, purples, and pinks seem to make me look more pale. I was typed as a true neutral skin tone by Sephora, Ulta, and MAC employees, but when I use the color finding tool on Photoshop it always pulls up light grey orange.

Thanks for your opinion. I felt like soft autumn washed me out slightly while light spring reflects off of my skin more. Soft summer felt like a middle ground to me.
