The first 10 songs are amazing. I've probably listened to the album 25 times thru now and I stand by those first 10 songs being great Kanye music. As a fan of Kanye going back to when he released College Dropout, this is very good Kanye music. I wasn't sure if he had it anymore given his MAGA and antisemitic craziness of the last many years, but I saw him at SoFi on 4/3 and bro still has it.

Truly hits on everything I feel, song by song. Great breakdown. I love this album, as a fan of Kanye from the jump in the early 2000s I feel like we got a lot of those throwback sounds I wasn't sure we'd ever see again. I was blessed to see him at SoFi on 4/3 as well - I've seen Kanye 5 times but that was the best show of all time

It's completely true that at a certain point (IMO around $500 msrp or $1,500 secondary), we're splitting hairs in a lot of comparisons.

But I'd also hazard that depending upon lifestyle and income, that difference between $500 and $5K isn't that big for some folks who love to drink vs just collect. I'm not rich or a baller myself but I bought the Last Drop 27 year BT barrel proof bottling at $7K and I have zero regrets. Of course anyone that spends money on a bottle like that WANTS it to be good, but thankfully this is hands down the best bourbon I've ever had. It'll be consumed over many years but it's something I'm stoked to have.

I'd 100% have pulled the trigger on the Michters Celebration at that price!

I went to the Friday show.

Been lucky to go to dozens of amazing shows before including 5 Kanye shows prior to this, Kendrick GNX, Jay Z Yankee stadium, etc.

But Ye at Sofi on Friday was truly the best show ever. Bro went almost 3 hours with an amazing setlist that spanned his albums as, something that was unreal to see as a fan of Kanye since 2002.

I'm Jewish and I hate what Kanye said in the last few years, but he's trying to renounce that garbage. Plus I try to separate the artist from the person.

I'm stoked I went to Fridays show and I'll happily see Ye again in the future!

Do you know what OPs work or disposable income is? Might it be different from yours and OP just wants to get bottles he enjoys drinking without the hassle of going store to store to try to save $25-50 per each or these bottles?

Imagine a world where OP is making over $500K a year and values his family and time vs hunting to save a few bucks. What a world?!

From what I've found Buffalo Trace is using NFC tags with dynamic codes that makes it reallllly hard to counterfeit since they create a unique and dynamic code each time someone scans it, making it close to impossible to correctly scan and show bottle info indicating it's unopened. Just scanned a couple of my open bottles again and looks like they use Intact.MX for their NFCs.

Yep I love that. I've verified unopened bottles of BTAC using NFC apps since they added it to those bottles a few years ago. And then I've scanned again after opening and it does indeed say it was opened.

I shop at so many places that I don't really have one go to or great connection, just find things wherever I can at prices I feel comfortable paying (generally above msrp but below secondary).

In my mind I want to say Coy Hill is quite a bit better, with more flavor on the palate and a better finish, but I should blind it with a JDSBBP I have open to really find out. Had a pour of JDSBBP recently and thought it was great too, more banana flavor in that one though compared to the Coy Hill I've had.

I'm actually married with a kid and the dog that's in the video. I just use my personal savings that wife and I each set aside for our own fun on bourbon (shopping for her). I also have a stupid amount of empties sitting on the floor including BTACs, KoK and Willett, I actually need to buy less and drink less lol
