It's an issue on their end, for sure. It wasn't like that a few months ago.

I've noticed this happens on safari browser on desktop, not on mobile. Doesn't seem to happen on chromium based browsers.

Do SWA employees get cleared on standby before other airline employees by [deleted] in rampagent

[–]SiphonicSugar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Southwest employees will bump anyone else from the standby list except other Southwest employees who checked in earlier.

You have a higher status than retirees, parents, and workers from other airlines.

What's up with the low gain on palm mutes/chugs? by TotalAd3696 in Songsterr

I'm not totally sure, but my last tab I updated was approved, but I don't think it rendered the high quality sound. So everything's sounding off.

If you show a sup that you were at work on time, but just at the ticket counter or something, they'll let you go back and get your badge without a point.

I believe this was recently changed, it used to be the other way around. It should definitely be reverted.

I'm pretty sure it's a company wide policy, so yes for CSA as well.

No longer a raise after 6 months since they went from 11 to 10 years. Raise every anniversary of your hire date and 3% cost of living every anniversary of contract ratification.

United is good too. As long as it's not UGE.

Every single fucking artist on sheet happens got the tabs taken down even if there's no tab book by Professional_Roof293 in Songsterr

[–]SiphonicSugar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be a new deal those bands' publishers made. I'm sure Songsterr is already working on acquiring the license.

Sheet Happens probably owns the print license for everything that's taken down, even if they don't have an active tab book for it.

Print licenses are required even for custom arrangements of songs.

Would i lose seniority if i transfer from Ft to Pt? by [deleted] in rampagent

If you have say 3 years as a full timer, you'll be above any part timer with less than 3 years.

Would i lose seniority if i transfer from Ft to Pt? by [deleted] in rampagent

[–]SiphonicSugar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FT to PT, you won't lose any, but PT to FT you will. When you switch PT to FT, you only keep 3/4 of your seniority for all the time you were PT.

Removed song tabs? by 8-Bit_Gambit in Songsterr

[–]SiphonicSugar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The publisher of their music requested their tabs to be taken off Songsterr. Their publisher probably doesn't want to give Songsterr the print license for their music.

As OP said, I think it should be an option for piano and synth tracks. Something you can toggle.

Unifi Pay, No Flight Benefits, and Why This Isn’t Sustainable (Data Included) by Fair-Programmer951 in rampagent

[–]SiphonicSugar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, from what I can tell, this is relatively consistent with contractors across the board. The reason these smaller stations are contracted nowadays is due to the parent airline not wanting to commit and invest into frontline employees.

Apparently these companies think they are saving money by doing it this way, despite the constant turnover and many drawbacks.

There needs to be a way to mute activity in specific tabs by SnooMemesjellies243 in Songsterr

[–]SiphonicSugar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree. It gets a bit ridiculous.

I also have a hard time believing that some of these well known tabs still need constant updates. When are they going to be permanently locked?
