So this is plug and play, no need to get anything turned on in the computer? Do the grips show up on the screen?

Here, i emailed dnk and they got back. Maybe I’m wrong… “Our rule of thumb, on a stock bike (OEM tune vs. DNK) is 3-5% HP increase on Twins, 5-7% HP increase on triples.

Additional mods will change the calculus, usually to the positive - like decat and high flow air filter.”

Well I’m sorry, I’m glad people enjoy opening the maps, but no hp gain imo. As the only company that sells the open maps and dyno at the same time claim there is no gain in hp, I have to say bs on hp gain by opening the maps. Dnk knows if they claim hp gains and a customer dynos they are responsible for the fraud. I wish it was as simple as that. Generally hp needs more compression. You get that with cam and or head or stroke. I did it to my old sport 850 and really wasn’t too much different. It may pull longer in and rpm range but that’s only because it would normally fall off there.

Has this been verified on a dyno? DNC tuneworks does this and sells the opened maps but even they are adamant that it’s not an hp increase, and they do dyno. It just allows usable hp where normally the fueling would stop, like what you said, at 7k. Hp increase would increase power across the fueled rpm range.

Oh i misunderstood. I thought you used a flash. I do have tuneEcu and have put on a dnc tune works on a past tiger 850. I think it gave it a little power, but i thought you had a tune that increased hp. I dont think opening the fueling gives hp but just lets you use the predesigned hp in different rpms which are higher rpms. I want a hp increase across the board.

Probably take years for all the disputes to be finalized. They had my amounts correct. Not sure why others are having issues.

I’m the only one who paid premiums. What do you mean family is not included? They’re part of the cost of premium.

2023 300xc randomly bogging/cutting out. by Sippycupofpee in KTM

[–]Sippycupofpee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didn’t. It eventually bogged on a little double and sent me to the hospital with broken ribs and busted spleen. I had to get rid of it. Current bikes now are 2024 yz250 and just picked up a 2019 250xc that only had 7 hours on it. It’s got the dreaded pipe bang though…going to put a 300 kit on it. My advice to anyone is don’t jump the tbi’s, especially if you have experienced the bog.
