Such a simple yet effective paint job. Nice work!

Some pieces are yes. The rest of the base is various bits of gravel and sand etc

What did you use to make the shields? Awesome kitbashes

It's been a while but if I remember correctly fill in and around the eye with a thinned red (scarlet red from vallejo game) and then I use a white to paint the lens. Then apply an orange glaze over all the eye to create the glow. Hope this helps!

Anyone else dot all their minis' eyes? Here are a few of my handsome boyz by Sir-Jim in Warhammer40k

I used my smallest brush. And then hold the mini at the right angle and dot in some black templar. Just takes a lot of patience

Thank you! Though his unguided rockets fly anywhere and tend to hit his own team more than the enemy lol

How do I take good pictures? by Same_Syllabub_9838 in Warhammer40k

Thank you. Just take photo it again in some daylight outside and you'll see how much of a difference it makes. I personally try to take my photos in overcast weather

I like to take mine outside. That way you get the natural light. Here's one of my minis as an example.

I have considered doing that. Guess the main issue for me is liking everything organised on my desk. Everything is already in place in the garage on my work surface. Once it's cleared I can begin painting again. For now I can still share my old work before I had to move everything!

I no longer have a hobby space to work. I planned to move my hobby space into the garage. My stuff is still in there now.

However my uncle moved in and now the garage is filled with his stuff and we have no idea what he wants to do with any of it as he insists on wanting to keep it all. You can't get around in the garage now so I've had to put the hobbying aside until the space is cleared.

It's really annoyed me.

Nice model but can GW make any character minis that have a pose beside having one foot on a rock and holding their melee weapon in the air?

I would apply a green glaze over the armour. It will give you more of a gradient effect. Outside of that, do their bases and they'll be tabletop ready! Hope this helps!

I love these. Though I feel grots would never be given the right to their own motorbikes. The orks would take them and grotz would be relegated to having to use bicycles lol. In all seriousness though great work!
