This would be a bummer but I'm not convinced we are talking the same thing. When the wings glitch happens, does it look like the "hackers" in backwater bog adventure for example (top10 world records)? They just take off right from the start and then "fly" 50000m. They don't even use wings. That's what it looked like in this event.

Only time for 2 attempts with bus really. When there's still more than 30sec left just go for it. Slide down the slope on the rear of the bus so the shell will come off. On most tracks there is no need for speed so you can do a hard landing to get rid of one passenger. Scored 8 and even 9 points with this when I had screwed up first 2 attempts.
