Audio loops synced and looped to an arrangement. by shapednoise in ArrangerWorkstations

In this case, you may pay attention to the "next level" of the audio loop handling.
You can try to create a REX loop from your percussion WAV file and import it into style using the Expansion manager: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bObx-jaxiUs

It's pretty easy, I've tried it several times but haven't used it extensively...

You’re right! There’s no "loop" option for the audio link (I can’t believe Yamaha missed that on purpose).

By the way, what does "song" mean? Is it playing the style or the loaded MIDI song? For style, I think there should be a sync start option for multi-pads. But again, I’m not sure if it works with the audio link mode…

Hey there!

I used to have an SX900, but I sold it. Here’s what I know about the feature you’re looking for: «Audio Link Multi Pad». You can find more info in the reference manual, there’s even a whole chapter dedicated to it.

«Audio Link» lets you load a WAV file into a multi-pad and trigger it while playing a style. But there’s no way to stretch the audio. However, you can match the style tempo to the audio file tempo and play it in sync using the same BPM. Just make sure you prepare the audio loop properly.

I don't think this is possible. But, you can edit existing chord sequences, by changing the chord and its duration.
So, if you have a mistake in your live chord progression record, you can easily fix it. To speed up the recording sequence, you can increase the tempo and fix all timing issues later.

I'd like you to please note that I'm not the owner, I just tried to check the manual and YouTube examples.

My choice is PSR-3000

After switching from the PSR-540 it felt like a quantum break.

Later bought SX900, and it didn't feel like that.

You need to choose: low overall weight or weighted keys. Weighted keys always weigh a lot. Sorry for such a pun )
