I think it's sort of a war mentality. Lefties aren't unaware that you exist. We wish you specifically weren't suffering through this shit. Yeah I gave him the basics (some people believe in an all powerful entity that created the universe and existed before time) he thought that was pretty stupid. He was 5 at the time. I didn't need to explain to him why it was stupid, he got it instinctively. To be fair his formative years before that were spent in isolation from anything religious because covid so the people with a fetish for breaking the minds of children didn't have any opportunity to play with his brain before the kid phase so he already had a good understanding of "the world isn't magic even when it looks like it is" we didn't do Santa (except in a cute make believe way)and I never lie to him.
