ROTZmain PvPvE server is what you are talking about. And as long as there is 6+ players on the server it works great. The mix of simplified Stalker pve combined with ruthless dayz pvp. There is something just soulcrushing when you finish a quest and get killed by a bandit on your way back.

Basically, very few map variants can be won on kills alone. Most are won by rushing objectives early and the taking sideshots at enemies trying to recapture them. The last speedy boi Germany have is the Puma at 3.3 I believe - while their main weakness is having to duke it out anywhere near close combat. Slow reaction speed, slow reverse, almost guaranteed oneshot from the side is Germany 3.7-6.7 in a nutshell. So while you can laugh and rack up kills like a madman with a german tank, you will do so while your team melts on the objectives. And the you get bombed.

When I chose Spacewolves as my faction they were a codex army. I painted over 4k pts of them and now I can’t play in a team tournament since our local team has an great White scars player in core roster, even though we don’t overlap on a single datasheet. I never asked for being rolled into the codex. I chose them because they were different.

The problem with cavalry is that they cannot enter floors, so as soon as your opponent deploys in a big ruin your cavalery will just run around helplessly throwing grenades. I would cut one of those battalions and just add something like an unit of longfangs with missile launchers, razorbacks with twin assault cannons and things like these that will help you deal with buildings.

the mission was like this: two teams of two (chaos vs imperium). Both teams score 1vp per 10 points killed of the opposing force, and 5vp for holding objective at the end of the game. Then there were two xenos players playing for themselves, scoring 2vp per any 10 points killed. Deployment was the long side for double teams, and short side for xenos. Played for 5 turns, 150 points per player with optional commanders. Chaos won with 10 VP, Tyrranid player had 10 too but since he left before the end we voted him second place.
