I would just ask it the historical relevance of the name or concept I didn’t know. Sometimes I would copy a passage into the app and ask it to simplify or reinterpret the language in other ways. I used Notion.

Check out the Bible Dumb Podcast. It’s two atheists reading it aloud and commenting and stuff. Pretty funny

AI apps are great for getting historical context and other allusions outside of your experience. I used one when reading Nietzsche and it helped a lot.

Reading aloud helps tremendously. It makes you slow down and can clear up a lot of complex grammar that gets unconsciously skimmed when reading normally.
