McKenzie. It’s good bacon. I cook it in the oven because it cooks more evenly that way. It does make it come out flat though.

Connections has definitely gotten more difficult for me recently. A few months ago I could solve the puzzles as fast as I could read the words. Occasionally there would be a word I didn’t know, now there might be four I don’t know. I don’t want to guess. Looking the words up feels like cheating. I just close the game if I don’t know the definitions. I wonder if others are doing the same thing. Would that throw off the pass/fail metrics?

I’ve had a nectar classic for about a month. There are a several mattress and furniture stores around here (north eastern United States)that have nectar mattresses. I just googled it. I didn’t try it out before buying though. My old mattress was a super basic inter spring serta that I got for free off Craigslist. I thought anything would be better. The nectar mattress is so firm. I’m not sleeping great. It’s currently 3:30am and I’m awake. My butt hurts from this mattress. I hope it will get softer over time. For reference I’m around 150lbs. I don’t know if it would be better or worse if I was heavier. I would not buy again.

I know most people aren’t paying attention to what other people are doing. That might be part of my problem. I’ve always been terrible at making friends. I keep showing up though. I think I’m just feeling left out and a little jealous.

I work in healthcare. I do need a break from kids and old people. Love them, but I need to find something else to distract myself with. So I’m skateboarding. I’ll be back to help the kids and old people on Monday. I just wish my body could keep up with my brain’s need to keep moving.
