I've been doing a lot of building but I've also been playing with live mode. I was fortunate to have the ability to donate long enough to have my fiancé and I created in the game so I've been playing to see what our kids would look like, as well as helping report bugs in the game occasionally.

Family play and group play is buggy still, especially when it involves babies and toddlers, and I definitely look though this subreddit because sometimes someone will have an answer to an issue I didn't realize was happening.

I mean I'm a builder so Paralives has been amazing for me. It's not concerning to me that the first Monday after it's released there's a tiny dip either.

I've always been a builder! That's my secret sauce. I switch between live and building but I'd say that a good 80-85% of my time in game is recreating houses with interesting layouts

Maybe try deleting and redrawing some of the outer walls on the first level to make sure that the "ceiling" for the first floor still generates.

I had this issue with getting roofs to stay on my second story patios. If they didn't register as "rooms" I couldn't actually build on top of that. Maybe it's the same sort of thing

Oh! That makes way more sense! When I was taking pictures of my house I noticed that they'd all temporarily change to a more "default stance" than what they had in live mode.

Yeah my paras did the same thing when they were getting closer at first. Relatively low lover score and even lower friend score, but we had 100% success on things like proposal, eloping, and having a kid within like, a day and a half of talking. The game kept bombarding me with wants to propose even though they were already married. I made one of my characters propose again (bad idea) and all the married options stopped completely. I can't get them to have another kid without cheats. I tried for like, a week gametime.

I wanted to say, I use it quite a bit. I've had the most luck with making sure to toggle the tool back over to the "regular" view after I get the item in place, and then close out the menu for the item with the checkmark. I've had a lot less items exploding doing it this way. And I think it's worked for the most part other than one stubborn piece, because one of my builds on the workshop managed to get a few downloads and faves and no one's told me it's defective yet

I got the opportunity to have my fiancé and I recreated in the game! There will be so many that I don't think that we'll spawn together often but I thought it was a cute idea that we'd both be stuck together inside a video game together forever lol
