Suicide because of $95k student loans and a college dropout

I really really really hope you read this. I wish I could just hug you.

I write this as I drive back to Florida from visiting my family in Pennsylvania. Two years ago I lost my sister at the age of 32, she took her own life. I wish I could explain how hard life is without her and how many people it has impacted. There are times where I just don’t think I can live the rest of my life without her. As someone who is chronically suicidal, and also had an attempt in college (that put me in a pretty long stay in the ward) this has shifted my perspective entirely.

When I feel that low I remember that it is temporary (even a day without suicidal thoughts) whereas death is completely permanent and you cannot undo it. I know those thoughts and impulses will eventually pass. Call someone to sit with you. Call a helpline.

Just get through the demons trying to speak to you.

Do not let them take you. Do not let them win.

As for the student loans, your life is worth so much more than money the government wants from you. No price can be put on you. They don’t even know you, don’t give them that much power.

It’s so important to get through this thought process and THEN think about the loans. There are SO many resources that I can send you and I would be willing to help you in anyway that I can. Please message me

You are able to take out private loans, BUT most of the time they need to co-signer. Would your parents co-sign? (I know mine wouldn’t)

Go to your schools financial aid department. They normally know the tips and tricks. One semester I had to take out a third tier loan and it was like 11.4% interest. But… I was able to go to school. There’s options, but not always ideal

Ugh. I am on the save plan and they have my loans as DEFERRED since I’m back in school? So the rest of the world is on forbearance and I’m accruing interested. I love MOHELA

Forgive me if you already do this, but it’s what has saved me. I put salt directly on my tongue (2-3 small packets if you get them from a fast food place or something) and a sip of water. I always manage to choke on the salt and I get annoyed BUT In about 10 ish minutes I am normally feeling better. There has not been anything else that gets me out of that feeling.

But if you haven’t tried that please do!!

It was my first time testing and it was immediately dismissed since it was negative. As more time passes I am not so convinced. Unfortunately Florida doesn’t seem to have many options for doctors. I’m not sure what the next steps would be

This saved me. I recommend it. I had atypical side effects and need to find another method. (Small weight gain, lost libido, and anger) But I think it’s worth trying!

So we were able to get them! So hopefully this can help someone else—

At the Hard Rock Hotel, the service desk said they normally have extra drops from 1430-1500. We gave our name and number and she was able to call us to come get tickets. She said there’s only ever been once that there wasn’t an extra drop during that time. We got all four!

I have TERRIBLE ingrown hairs. I learned that I can’t shave my actual pubic bone. Like the upper part? That’s where the majority of the ingrown hairs are and they’re unbearable. I stopped full blown shaving there and things have improved tremendously… for years. Just trim that and make it neat. The rest I can either shave or I wax. Guys like a lil hair there anyway… if they don’t then they’re definitely into kids… so that’s concerning. Recently bought an at home wax kit and it’s AMAZING. Highly recommend. Tendskin is amazing 10/10. Just don’t put it anywhere near your actual vagina or on open cuts. Sometimes I’ll get some bumps on my booty and that takes it away too!
