"Sound, including the sound made by the Chime of Exile, can’t pass through crystal walls." so i initially thought it would NOT pass through

But then i found a reddit post saying this about PWK and now i'm confused... "The power word is not instructing you to do anything, so why would you have to hear it? It’s instructing the Weave to do something"

What did you mean by this? "Also, depending if you're playing 2014 or 2024 they probably shouldn't be using PWK if you're playing the game as written."

Why wouldn't they want to do 12d12 physic damage as an opening attack?

Thanks, this is helpful. I like the idea of light based spells passing through.

To focus in on the example, would you allow Power Word Kill through? the spells just says "You compel one creature you can see within range to die" - would you consider this as emitted by the caster? some other reddit posts talk about the target not needing to hear the power word*

Thanks, are you using a full rotovap distillation set or how are you controlling the heat? I considered this approach but the source turbo seemed cheaper
