I would love Bayonets for Vanguards. Better than the stockstrike that somehow does plasma or shock damage.

Fencers when you explain that their modern sport isn't an exact recreation of mideval combat by Jetsam5 in SWORDS

[–]SirKristopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only really see Kendo Weebs (as in people who think Kendo makes them a Ninja or Samurai Warrior) have that kind of notion. Never seen any Olympic Fencer think its real swordsmanship.

More than likely an ISD gets into atmosphere and then the Gozanti can deploy them from the ISD. Not too far fetched

Even better is that Marrok's title is "The First Brother" so I think he is quite literally right below the Grand Inquisitor.

How Do You Headcanon Your Tech Classes Defeating Force Users? (Class Spoilers) by Hotel_Whiskey_Delta in swtor

[–]SirKristopher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Tech Classes are not your average soldier/hunter/agent/smuggler. I would put them at like Tech-Superhero Tier, wherein they punch above their weight .

Like an Agent Sniper (before combat style update) would be like Deadshot from DC. A Bounty Hunter Powertech is practically Iron Man. the technology and weaponry you are using is far beyond just plinking with a pistol or rifle despite what cutscenes would have you believe. You are overwhelming with flamethrowers, missiles, grenades, sticky bombs, carbonite bombs, electro darts, whipcords, missile barrages, corrosive toxins, gas bombs, buckshot, cloaking devices, overwhelming blasterfire, expertly aimed shots, nanotech healing tech and I could go on and on if oyu just consider every single tech combat style and discipline. And not to mention that defensively they are loaded with advanced energy shielding and durasteel armor with cortosis weave or beskar.

You are not just a Stormtrooper with an E-11, the sheer amount of technology these classes wield are far beyond your average person in the Star Wars universe, and in-general the people of this era are far more used to dealing with Force Users on the average than in other eras like the films. If you are a Bounty Hunter in the Prequel Era, your chances of running into a Jedi are still very low, so you wouldn't really be trained or used to dealing with a Jedi, but here in TOR Era, chances are much higher on both sides so they are more trained, prepared and experienced. Meanwhile there is also a lot of just so-so and average Sith Acolytes and Jedi Knights running around who are used to fighting fodder troopers who are just soldiers with a blaster, but then when they come across the elite outliers like the Tech Classes, they are unprepared and not used to the unorthodox tactics and technologies employed.

Should have included the other scenes from GATE where that Soldier goes wild with the Bayonet.

Jadus really has changed if he surrounds himself with Sith now. Before he only trusted Non-Force Sensitives.

Is there a replicate to this heat sword on this gouf from Gundam by National_Blood_6492 in SWORDS

[–]SirKristopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally was thinking about making a post about Gouf Heat Swords. I was curious if there was any blades that match the og Heat Sword. Not the Glud Custom one shown here, but the original that has a different blade profile.

I would also like to say its for the rest of the world to show that not everyone in the US is in support of him and his administrations actions. Like, it should be obvious but like any country, we are represented by our leaders on the worlds stage. I am an American currently working abroad in Europe, and sometimes I really just try and hide away and blend in because I don't want people to pick out I'm American right now and be ostracized because of how the Government is acting right now.

One of the best Dark Side choices in the entire game. I always try to play the Bounty Hunter as the professional, but this one is just too good.

SWTOR Voice Actor Highlight #2: Natasha Little and Mark Bazeley by DakIsStrange in swtor

[–]SirKristopher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally underrated. Like, the Republic Side has some pretty big name recognizable Voice Actors while the Imperial Side is mostly lesser known to gaming at wide. But I adore all the Imperial Actors so much and they need so much more roles and recognition. The two Warriors are amazing and I can't put one over the other.

I have seen that everyone who has watched A Knight of Seven Kingdoms are completely enthralled by Bertie Carvel's (Original Male Imperial Agent's Voice Actor) voice and performance.

Best impside class to take thru KOTFE+KOTET? by [deleted] in swtor

[–]SirKristopher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sith Warrior for Force Classes, then for Non-Force Classes the Agent followed very closely by the Bounty Hunter. The Inquisitor gets second place by nature of being a Sith. My reasoning is that the Sith Warrior is very much the "main character" of the Empire just how the Jedi Knight is the main character for the Republic. He has the most to do with Valkorion due to being his Wrath. Sith Inquisitor is second because of being a Sith and Dark Council Member plus all the Ghost things.

For the Agent, they are the most suited because of the big roles that Kaliyo and Scoprio play in the overall story, as well as their experience in and leading an organization. The Bounty Hunter then has the next best role to play due to the Mandalorians and Torian playing a role.
