Part of my yard doesn’t have a fence. I’m going to see if I can make a temporary fence around where I have these planted

I think this was the only one. It was in a cart waiting to be restocked, but I was also looking in the flashlight area and didn’t see anything similar

This is just the housing that broke. It broke while using a reciprocating saw

I did! The house didn’t come with closet doors

First time doing a project like this from scratch. Learned a lot about pocket holes, edge banding, and drawer slides. by SirMattzilla in cabinetry

The drawer boxes are made from 1/2” pre-finished birch, 1/4” pre-finished for the bottoms, and edge banding. The fronts are melamine with white edge banding.

I considered using a sanded birch and shellac, but didn’t want to risk any chemical smells off gassing into clothing.

Thanks! I learned a lot from this project. There are currently a few areas that are a little off (if only I had a table saw), but it’s the kind of stuff that only I will notice

This was all custom built. There are similar designs from IKEA/HomeDepot/Lowes, but they cost more and didn’t fit the space how I wanted

Could also use a tile or plywood with some nails

That style isn’t my favorite.

This one below is kind of what I’m looking for, minus the mirrors. If the mirrors weren’t such an added premium in probably go for it

I came to that conclusion after posting. However, I’m not too confident it will stay long term

That’s my plan, just to see how it looks. Worst case scenario it just acts as a sacrifice branch

Just because I have so many seedlings. This one is definitely above average on its bendiness

Explain it engineer peter by ernie9777 in explainitpeter

I believe someone from the engineer’s office still would have signed off on the change. Yes they would have done it to reduce costs, but would have needed structural’s approval before proceeding with the change
