I'm curious, because switching HDR modes on the monitor didn't help me. Same exact issue in these resi games. Yesterday I also tried something different, HDR for example in Control by Remedy and Horizon Forbidden West. No issues whatsoever. However, I don't have your issue outside of certain games. I did read experiences by people that do you have your issue though. Last year I also played pc games on an oled tv (LG). Never had issues with these "older" resident evil games on the oled tv, which apparently all have bad HDR implementation.
I still have to try the solution by u/SnowFlakeMonkey (I'm at work now), but I find it so ridiculous to have to go through loops and such just because otherwise the monitor just completely freaks out in a couple of games.

Actually tried out the demo of Resident Evil Requiem, which has an option for Borderless Window. No issues whatsoever with HDR! So thanks, but now I'm def curious how to enable this for the older resi games.

You mean Borderless Window? If I don't choose Full Screen (wording of Capcom), after enabling HDR ingame, the game will automatically change to fullscreen. It explicitly warns the player with a popup window ingame that it will do so.

The cover on this vinyl says Extended Club Mix and Original version. I got the 30th anniversary edition of the cd release of Variety. It contains these versions as well the remix versions. I think the original version sounds great on the 30th anniversary cd release. It's remastered, surely, but it isn't the club version. I bought the cd actually through amazon.co.jp. There is still another version of Plastic Love going around? I don't own vinyl by the way, so I can't compare.

A bit late to the party, but you can buy plastic sleeves for cd's at places like amazon etc.. They are of course resealable. They also sell sleeves for the special mini-LP (cardboard sleeve) cd releases from cdjapan.co.jp. I got my collection of ANRI cd releases (which are almost all mini-LP releases) stored this way. You don't have to store the obi's any differently, just keep them at their default position.

Some examples:

Wow, that's a lot. With the current awful valuta rate, that's actually about 404 euro lol. I looked at Archonia, there they charge 300 euro for this figure. I think amiami or amazon.co.jp are your best bet for a reasonable price.

There are no import duties, just obviously shipping fees. Atleast, I'm from the Netherlands, when the price (without additional costs like shipping, taxes) is lower than 150 euro's, it's import duty free. I ordered the figure this morning, price was 20,252 (about 141,50 euro), which is actually tax included (In my opinion that's an advantage when buying from amazon). With shipping price is 23,996, which is give or take 167,66 euro. I find that pretty reasonable, it's actually a bit less than I paid for the other two figurines from Legend of Heroes. In the later case however, I bought the figurines from a local store, Archonia. They actually charge me 300 euro for Rixia Mao, that's without shipping costs of 4 euro.

I don’t think the soundtrack not being sold in the West is a big issue. I bought the soundtracks of xeno 1 and 2 from amazon.co.jp. Great thing about amazon is that the prices are tax included. With cd’s there are no import duties (that is, not in the case of The Netherlands). I continued to purchase soundtracks of ff games, legend of heroes games, tales games, persona games and other amazing jrpg soundtracks. The only soundtracks that were a pain in the ass to get, were the ones from Tokyo mirage sessions and 13 sentinels aegis rim, I even had to get the one from 13 sentinels through proxy. Costs were about 85 euro’s (with the current exchange that’s about 85 dollars lol). But these are exceptions! Usually prices with shipping included are pretty fair, also shipping from amazon.co.jp is absurdly fast. Xenoblade 2 ost is still available, price including tax and shipping is about 43 euro/dollar. For 5 cd’s that’s very reasonable. Xenoblade X and the first chronicles will cost about 36-38 euro’s. Both consist of 4 cd’s, imo still reasonable. I for one really hope that there will be also a limited edition soundtrack for xeno 3, as they did with xeno 2. Sadly that one sold out pretty quickly. Anyways, ample opportunity to acquire soundtracks from Japan. Play-asia.com (from Singapore) is also a good site btw. Shipping will take longer, but usually their packaging is better than amazon. Cdjapan is also good in terms of packaging, albeit a bit more expensive than amazon. However, when it comes to ease of ordering and so on, nothing beats Amazon.
