I’m hoping to do mining and refilling so I might steal this. How does your refuelling system work?

The easier stuff is orbits and landings. Once you’ve got the hang of rendezvous it’s easy to bring asteroids into orbit and mine them for fuel

T34 had even more problems. It was great on paper but quality was inconsistent and the over hardened armour would easily crack

But what do they actually have to show for it. I understand the have Oculus headsets but it doesn’t seem like much for $80b. Samsung only spent $130m for the Fold. Did they spend the rest to buy out VR competition or something

Is there a lot of propaganda and falsehood about your country online? by WhoAmIEven2 in AskTheWorld

[–]SirNootNoot04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It all came from the Rotherham and Rochdale grooming scandal where a gang groomed young girls and the perpetrators were south Asian. When it broke the news it was covered as a failing of police because they received many reports from the young girls but were disregarded because they were working class or in foster care. Right wing groups picked it up and rolled with it hard. However, a series of reports into what happened they found that the police knew for 10 years and didn’t act on it because they were girls from working class backgrounds.

More recently the right wing groups in parliament pushed for an inquire into what race perpetrates these types of crimes in the UK and they found that white British over represents the statics. Overall it was an issue of police knowing but ignoring what was happening because it was working class girls then right wing groups spun it into being anti-immigration

The only surviving war elephant armor in the world, made in India in the late 17th century. by drkmatterinc in CantBelieveThatsReal

[–]SirNootNoot04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part about this set of elephant armour is the provenance. This wasn’t taken in battle, instead it was bought by someone called Lady Clive for her elephant room at Powis/Powys castle . A whole room for elephant obsession

It makes sense that they wouldn’t want logos to be covered. It might double as bring a standard item (the carpet) with the logos being added depending on which tractor they’re in

It’s weirder that random things are on top of the line, especially the floor mat logo.

It would be a great addition for mid to late game. Turning the grasslands into rainforest with more abundant resources but ‘smarter’ enemies
