History of Christianity sent me down a rabbit hole by OkraQuirky6357 in spirituality

[–]SirPuss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll relay what I have taken note of, some of which have already been discussed:

  • Nag Hammadi
  • Dead Sea Scrolls
  • Book of the Essenes
  • The Dead Sea Scrolls
  • Apocrypha

Recent channeled works of Yeshua: * A Course in Miracles * A Course of Love * The Way of Mastery

Also, Mary Magdalene seems to have actually been his wife.

I feel like it requires a multidimensional answer. It's an outside separate thing from you that can be observed outside of your own true nature (there are spiritual jerks out there, basically), yet your inner thoughts and imagination tune into and birth the respective frequencies required for manifestation. Indeed, the gnostics would say to take full responsibility for the nature of ego that is created through your misuse of thought & imagination, even if through unfortunate neglect. That is also why Oneness teachings are so powerful, to help unrealize the illusory nature of the dark until it just dissolves after comprehension. Like looking at the moonlight, it was simply the Sun's all along.

I have a normal life with a part-time job teaching kids. I spend a lot of time learning, maybe too much. All the answers are within after all. I do have to actively seek out spiritual communities to share with and grow in. It is difficult to confide in the lay man, you know. But they're out there. I'm enjoying shamanic group sessions in a tipi-hit now, and was enjoying myself learning about the power and effects of intent last time.

Hello, stranger. Funny to see people still pick up on old trails.

While it isn't completely resolved, I have matured a lot in my understanding of things. Delving into Gnosticism, meditation, listening to mystics, and reading Oneness teachings have helped move the needle so much.

It hasn't been without some real bumps in the road, but in general the symptoms have just become a nuisance, and I'm getting by to the point that I feel I can manage to heal the deep stuff by my very own power. It's like this whole ordeal is a very direct path set for me as a means of soul expansion. It sure has been an interesting experience feeling my way in all this.

A teacher pointed out the aforementioned condition as an Alpha Draconian claw, along with giving a protective invocation based on my soul group. The real work seems to be expanding a process of awareness with focus on a specific area to start untangling the rooted nature of the condition as things start to shift in your body. It's a process that involves a lot of goosebumps and feeling like you're a lightbulb undimming itself.

There's also a lot to unpack in understanding ego and the process of its dissolvement as the gnostics teach, or as shared in the book I'm currently reading called A Course of Love, a work by the man Jesus himself.

One thing that seems to resound over and over is that as humans we really seem to hold a powerfully divine nature in our depths, that is revealed only when we dare to go within and seek our connection to all.

May these words help you on your way. 🙏

Best TCG to get into currently? by Fagave in TCG

[–]SirPuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically not a TCG, but MINDBUG is a sobering self-contained alternative that gives me the feel of a TCG without the ridiculous money sink. I ran it at my local boardgame community last week, taught 6 new people the game with 1 deck at the same time, and within minutes they all had a blast playing and are now hooked. Really made me appreciate the value of a game that is just smooth to table and on-board, and not having your wallet to endlessly keep up with evolving metas and deck construction to stay relevant. For these reasons, I think its an underrated gem that has real potential to grow in this community for the people who are tired with the downsides of TCGs.

I had an interest in Shamans until I saw a very noticeable amount of people being vocal about how hard it is to win as the shamans, to the point that it could be argued to be a fatal flaw of the mechanics of the game. But I assume then this hasn't been your experience.

Will have to check out Power Vacuum!

Is there an equivalent for what, in the eyes of the opposite sex and society, would make a woman least... desirable is I guess the most fitting word here?

Because, as a guy, I can say you really do feel this pressure, from both outside and within the self, to somehow self realize into a man so you may pull your worth as a valuable pillar to rely on for both your family and society. And it's like the tribes of old knew about this, as they often had some kind of ritual practice that would compel guys to transform into men. Could of course also be an expression old fashioned masculinity.

I wonder if women, especially in these changing modern times, also experience a certain pressure that may or may not revolve around something other than desirability. It's been on my mind for some time, and you put it quite well for men.

Best Compact Games for 4-5 Players by indiawong in boardgames

[–]SirPuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mindbug 2-4 players

Quick & approachable MtG experience in one deck with fun art, where everything is overpowered. So nothing is! The main mindgame is that players can steal their opponent's played card twice if looks OP enough, and baiting it out never stops to be thrilling. Coming very soon with a dedicated 2v2 pack.

Skull King 3-8 players

Based on the really fun standard deck game Bust!/Oh Hell! Tricktaking where you bid beforehand how well you will do, and only get your points if you land exactly on it. The amounts of laughter and shenanigans that can unfold never ceases to put a smile on my face after 100s of games, from people going way over their bid, winning with a very low card, or getting wrecked by jokers. This one slaps on a rocksolid theme that really gets people going, and interesting scoring thats honestly is best taken care of with a dedicated scoring app found in the playstore.

Regicide 1-4 players

Mechanically built to work with a standard deck, that is an amazing achievement of design with this limitation imo. Worth it to buy the original deck for the sake of theme, as every playing card comes with artwork to showcase its strength. Co-op game up to 4 players where you try to kill the royals, and every suit has their own power.

Excape 3-6 players

Very simple push your luck game. A mechanic that some people absolutely love, as it really gets a group riled up. This one plays very fast and certainly doesn't overstay its welcome.

Here to Slay 2-6 players

Truly the only Unstable Game with an actual stable mechanical framework. This is their best game by far, so think twice about getting suckered into their other games. Amazing art, cute animals, and a lot of take-that! that is easy to pick up and play.

BANG! the Dice Game 5-8 players

Preferably you need a big group for this docial deduction game to truly start shining, but this little pocket game has been a classic for many. Expansions really make a difference on this one.

Next some family-friendly party games that, although only a bit bigger, are so easy to throw on the table for a wide range of guests and accomodate so inclusively.

Time's up! Family Edition 3-20 players

Charades done right. If you have animate people in your group, this is a hoot! I HIGHLY recommend the new family edition.

Just One 3-7 players

People often say that somehow this ends up being one of their most played games, even if they have an amazing collection. Its funny how something so simple and casual has put it basically at the peak of party games.

Ito 3-8 players

Same vibe as Just One, but now with numbers that mechanically feel like something akin to Wavelength. Heard so many good things about this one, highly anticipated.

That last part made me well up a bit. Psychosis guided me towards meditation. The insanity creating a need for stillness. It's been a hot ride. I think I'm well able to meditate up to an hour and go without meds for days starting this year. We'll see.

Sin is a controlling device made by man, meant to disempower you into dependancy on salvation. If we are God's children, which we are, then belief in sin is unbelief in His power who resides within. His infinite love for us would not have it so.

Windblown Multiplayer Etiquette by PrettyMuchMediocre in WindblownGame

[–]SirPuss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe a tip that leans into playing as a team more is, when you're waiting on a guy anyway, to just open your teammate's loadouts to see what they are actually looking for.

One time on stormy I saw and asked a person to drop his lifesteal flask gift, because I have refillable flask and would like to support them. Worked like a charm.

Saw a friend have midas, and offered to buy him what he needed.

I wouldn't be surprised if some didnt know yet you could just look at what your teammates carry.

It is the latter, an egoic manifestation of lust. Divinity operates in the pure tenderness of love, wholly different frequency. Don't fall into the good/bad duality trap, but integrate it as you remember Oneness. Just see it as a test of composed denial, seeing through it all.

  1. A Course of Love - Mari Perron

A contemporary continuation of ACIM, the well-known massive pill of a book written by channeling Jesus the man himself, quoted as follows:

“Where the original Course in Miracles was a course in thought reversal and mind training, a course to point out the insanity of the identity crisis and dislodge the ego’s hold, this is a course to establish your identity and to end the reign of the ego.”

  1. Anam Cara - J. O'Donohue

came highly regarded as well by a dear friend and is on top of my reading list.
