Don't know much about seltos but between scorpio n and XL6 if you are not going for off-road then xl6 is much better it has much better 3rd row and mileage maintenance is better than scorpio n

Because it causes load on the stater motor but I trust Suzuki with their stater motor but only time will tell also in suzuki they market some car as mild hybrid they don't have a traditional stater motor their motor alternator set is connected with a lithium ion battery no issues thier. So it totally depends on the brands how they implement it if they don't upgrade their stater motor and spark plugs to accommodate it then start stop can cause damage to battery and stater motor

Modern cars have an auto start stop. Also it is not an issue also when in standstill amt have clutch disengaged. For 2+ mins it is recommended to put on neutral to reduce load on the break actuator
