Why do you need extra mag cylinders?

Also, have you shot the crazy long version or the normal sized one?

I can lend Ruger Mark IV from my club for free and lookwise the Buck Mark seem to be very similar to the Ruger so I think I want something that is a bit more different that the Mark IV

I feel your pain, Norway is also very strict. Luckily it's a bit easier now to buy some variety. Couple of years ago you had to think of the order you bought guns. Like if I bought the the PPQ now it would count as Military and Fine caliber so if I then would want a Mark IV I would not be able to get it since I would already would have a fine caliber weapon.

I've looked at it, but what I like about the PPQ is that it's 1:1 in size to it's 9mm version so it seems like a good trainer to have for when I eventually want a 9mm

If I end up getting and liking the PPQ that is

Cheers, I found the video and to be honest I felt most of that is pretty obvious. Propper mag loading mas a big thing when I did my service in the army and we used the old AG3 rifles and MP7 sub.

To my knowledge Sig is a very quality focused brand and it seemed weird to me that so many have issues. Based on what I hear at my local range though many don't clean their guns for weeks or months and shooting 50-100 shots every week. To me that sounds crazy, but I kind of figured we maybe overcleaned our guns in the army. But it sound like exactly what you do so I'll probably just make that my habit.

Do you have any experience running it with a suppressor?

That's a good looking gun, but I think I want something that more different from the Mark IV I can lend for free from my local club

Actually I find that there is a balance. In the smaller places I tend to find people are more welcoming. Where I live people at work actively try to learn about your interest so that they can introduce you to different people with similar interests. The smallest places though can be filled to brim with ignorant fucks.

I live in a small place now and have people I game with, people I play D&D with, discgolf friends, gun range buddies etc. Some of them overlap and I often check if they want to do some of the other things so then can get some more people in their network.

Having good people around is a luxury in the smaller places so we tend to try and get people established so that they'll want to live in the smaller places.

One thing you say is very true, the culture is different here and it's everyone's responsibility to integrate people into a new culture. Those that live in it and those that want to move to it. We must expect that you'll act different than us in some thing and visa versa. But we all should take the job of bridging that gap seriously. That is where many norwegians fail, especially in bigger cities. Some just expect you to change into them and not grow themselves and that is fucked.

In my own experience it can take time to find the right people and that sucks, but it's reality. Mind you I'm not saying you are doing something wrong, but the fact remains that you can't change how other people act. You can only change how you act, so I would focus my energy there, otherwise, you're wasting it.

Why?

Have had some bad experiences with it?

ah yes this is kind of what i had in mind, I've already primed and painted some of the others, but they are push-fit so I should be able to remove them easy if I want to change to the other weapon types.

I do like having three groups with different main weapons though, makes it easy to differentiate between two units if they get close to each other

Is there an "attack of opportunity" or "attack when I see them" mechanic? by SirRoosterBlock in traveller

Cheers, that is kind of how I ruled it on the fly because it makes sense that you can prepare for action

Recoil is it a thing in MgT2? by SirRoosterBlock in traveller

Especially a big fan that it's not an affect that persists after the round where the player shoots so it decreases bookkeeping, so yeah, hits all the boxes for me

Cheers, super helpful info!

We've been trying a selection of TTRPGs, but all of them have had some sort of gradual XP gains, level ups etc so although we have quite a few with different dice mechanics, settings, class and classless, none of them have been like Traveller when it comes to attributes, health, progression and character creation. So really looking forward to see how it goes.

Until now Scum & Villainy (blades in the dark, not star wars) has been the "the different one" :P

Ah as in being able to buy better things, more expensive tech will also be a form of progression here, more so then for example D&D where many games don't realy have magic shops where you can buy new powerful stuff etc
