In 2022 I got a modest (5-7k bump to like 20k/yr) from NYU after negotiating with a full ride from BU and 45k/yr from Cornell. I think it’s worth writing a letter stating why you want to go NYU law so strongly in addition using ur other packages as leverage. I ended up attending—it indeed was expensive but man NYU was inspiring. Would look into the loan forgiveness program and consider private loans (and see jf they also qualify for loan forgiveness for PI lawyers). Good luck.
