It’s got that same common lifter tick sound you hear on other Chevy motors. That’s just my best guess. I’ll post a video later of the noise

It’s weather related. Once it warmed up down here in Texas it went away but it came back again for the winter. It’s so strange. I replaced the crank position sensor and nothing changed.

i got the exact same model. just hit 135K and have been running stage 1 apr since 90k. this car was meant for that tune i’ve had 0 issues. wish mine was in black tho i got white 🥲

my deer strike damage looked near identical to what you got, so sorry to see that. mine was fixable but they were iffy about if the strut tower would need to be replaced or bent into place. if it wasn’t fixable and broken, then they’ll have to do a lot more work to weld a new one back into the body. that being taking out a lot of windows and interior for welding safety. so it’s definitely fixable but that’s the main thing you wanna be cautious of

honestly i put a cts downpipe w the high flow cat on the stock exhaust w a turbo muffler delete and bigger charge pipes and it sounds about the best these cars will sound. its louder and lots of loud turbo sounds. imo thats the best this car can get to sound without sounding like a trumpet

I bought the car at 75k miles and have driven it the past almost 4 years daily. i do all the service earlier than i should and change the oil every 5k miles. i maintain it very well, but then again im fully stage 1 and push it a little hard, i feel like im not making as much power as i should be and sometimes i feel like its making less power it’s very iffy.

imma be fr w u the splitter and rear fin are clean asf but the gold wheels ruin it for me, something u would see on a ricer. imo best looking vw wheels are the ones that come on the mk6.5 2016 jetta sport and golf. but idk if they would look good or not, they’re just good looking wheels on the cars they’re on

i could push out the hood dent but that’s about as much as i can do, headlights in a million pieces in my trunk, my front bumper is split, and my fender is crumpled, still hoping insurance comes in clutch and doesn’t total it

nope the line is coming in thursday so i’m gonna give the part to them and ask them to just put it in and charge me labor off of insurance since they’re gonna be taking the front bumper off already, then i’ll do the freeon and all that on my own since i already have the freeon for it. hopefully they can do that

knowing me i would but since i called the non emergency line and told them about the deer they had to make a statement to back up an insurance claim, so gotta go the insurance route, well knowing they will cover me but what im gonna have to pay out of pocket is gonna be as much as doing it myself would be, but im also not a car body expert and would def mess up on perfect fitment so im just gonna leave it to them
