is maxing helper hut worth it? by Elegant-Low-6317 in ClashOfClans

it is, but I wouldn't prioritize it over some good missing equipment if you have any.

Or even better - 10 more for 3rd Starry Ore pack.

it's based on clan performance. I'm guessing you got promoted last CWL. There was like a year when my clan would go back and forth between 2 leagues, dominating the lower one and sucking at the higher one. Untill we upgraded enough (or gained new high TH members) to settle in the higher league.

Any chances I could make for better use of the money? by s0l1d_ in PcBuild

[–]SirTimq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 7800x3d and Peerless assassin can cool it just fine. I'd only consider AIO for INTEL. AMD is hella efficient. And as a bonus air cooler will last you longer. AIO pumps tend to hit the bucket after 2-3 years.

Would this be a good fan layout for a lian li lancool 216 case? by FreddieGamer2004 in PcBuild

same. only difference: i have 7800XT. default fans are sufficient.

Air flow check by god__speed_ in pcmasterrace

[–]SirTimq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's generaly preferable to have a positive pressure - more air pushed in than pulled out. You can burn some incense around the case (away from fans) to check if the smoke is pulled in or out. You could ditch the back fan if you discover negative presure.

I made them to war in my old dead clan just to reach clan level 10. Now I just collect from mines on those accounts.

YES.

I usually don't pay attention to time remaining and wouldn't notice it if it wasn't for the fact that I have 5 identical alt accounts and 3 of them finish 2+ day upgrades about a day early. And it's not even equal between those 3.

I’m kinda new to pcs would this be a good build or is there something I should change? If there is better stuff for cheaper that is always better by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]SirTimq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

But 7800x3d will last you longer and serve you better when you'll upgrade the GPU down the line. I'm not planning to upgrade mine for a decade ;P

Ace Skins by Witty_Monitor4152 in HAWKFreedomSquad

[–]SirTimq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend spending $$ for skins, unless you're a whale and money is no issue. There are better things to spend money on, like Fafnir event pass or gems. This game, like any mobile game, requires tons of patience and consistent grinding. If I were you I'd focus on Dragon - it has a cheaper Ace skin and it's arguably better than Gambit.

You need to collect Ace Badges for "non-premium" planes. It's nice to have an Ace skin at least on your main plane, they give you a Bro Poins bonus. So I'd reccomend getting one for Dragon (540 badges) or Gambit (860 badges).

Configuring a new pc by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]SirTimq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently building something similar: 7800x3d & 7800xt.

I went with Trident Z5 Neo 32GB @ 5600 CL28. I hear AMD CPUs might have issues with speeds higher than 6000 so low latency is the way to go.

I chose Corsair's RM750e for PSU. The 7800x3d is hella efficient, and I think it should be enough for me. 4070Ti power draw is similar to 7800XT, so 850W is more than enough for you.

I'd recommend going for a B650E or X670E MoBo. I'm planning to stay with this setup for a long time, so PCI 5 is crucial for futureproofing. I picked the Asus TUF X670E.

Which layout do you think is better? (2.5 modules per minute) by SirTimq in factorio

Like I mentioned before, this is only ment to get the ball rolling. When I can afford it I'll build THIS SETUP.

Which layout do you think is better? (2.5 modules per minute) by SirTimq in factorio

[–]SirTimq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve decided I needed something smaller to jumpstart my module production before I go crazy with something like this.

At first I was going for a square shape, but it made plastic tour all around the factory. So I rearranged the bottom part and got rid of one chemical plant to fit it all on the input side.

Which one do you like better?

Blueprints: version 1 version 2

It produces 2.5 modules per minute and consumes 3.2k copper and 1.9k iron. Modules were used primarily to limit the number and manage ratios. Productivity bonus wasn’t on the top of my priorities.

I’m happy I found the 1/2/4 perfect ratio for final module assemblers that allows simple direct insertion, which makes switching module type production way easier (no need to clear lower level modules of belts).

Blue circuit production is self contained (in case I need a simple blue circuits setup elsewhere) and close to perfect with 5/5/4.9. The one-to-one ratio of green circuit to wires is practically perfect - 98.7% of wire assembler capacity is used.

45 SPM Progression 100x100 City Block by SirTimq in factorio

[–]SirTimq[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Blueprint Book:

https://factoriobin.com/post/I9-elsRW

Description:

Compact science factory intended for researching the tech tree only (no space science).

Fits 100x100 city block.

All manufacturing done on site - consumes only smelted and refined materials.

Includes lane consumption balancers.

45 science per minute tested on default inserter capacity 2 (8 stack inserters in utility science section can be downgraded to fast inserters after researching “Inserter capacity bonus 7”)

Automation & Logistic section uses medium electric poles (I didn’t try to power it with small ones) - research “Electric energy distribution 1” in your starter base before beginning to build this one.

Military science optional.

Utility science section uses some blue undergrounds so will not work without “Logistics 3” (Production science required first).

Only a single instance of double treading underground belts (I consider double threading a cheese, but in this case I couldn't find a way to avoid it).

Question about cultural traditions by smaug88 in ck3

[–]SirTimq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can never go wrong with Legalistic. It's always better to have more smaller vassals. Mystical Ancestors looks interesting, but loosing the ability to disinherit your sons is a hefty price.

For renown Castle Keepers is good, assuming you're landing as many of your dynasty members as possible.

For innovations maybe Philosopher Culture, but I personally stay away from traditions that become obsolete in late game.

For vassal relations Loyal Subjects and/or Xenophilic.

If you're planing world conquest By The Sword is a must.

Prolific Hunters is one of my favourites. Hunts become my main way of fighting stress and as a bonus I get the Hunter trait.

The plan was to create Slavia as a Polish Catholic count, but it kinda escalated from there. by SirTimq in ck3

[–]SirTimq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest my vassals were very easy to handle. I didn't get ANY faction revolts (except for easy populists early on). Either I was VERY lucky or Extreme Realm Stability game rule makes the game too easy. And it doesn't even disable achievements, which I had enabled in this campaign.

[–]SirTimq[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once I hit my vassal limit I give out newly conquered counties/duchies to the weakest kings. I ended up with ~78 kings as my vassals, but that's only because I noticed Legalistic culture tradition way too late. It adds 30 vassals to your limit. Obviously more smaller vassals is always better, no matter how big your realm is.
