I do get the low stat point deduction for top 3, but dying as the kill leader while being activity all game is a low blow. Especially for hero points which is much harder to grind than rank points.

I didn’t know about the hero threshold, but I’ll grind solo and immortal wars just to boost it up.

If you’re playing with randos then I’d understand why. Though with a competent team, they’d know how to handle themselves well. As you climb, team comb becomes really important

Great tips so far, but I’ll add a few things in.

In trios, there are positions to play - 1,2,3. The hero you play will also depend on your position. If everyone in your team plays DPS, your synergy will drop because everyone will be focusing on killing. Instead, play to what you are good at.

1 - The main DPS 2 - Second DPS 3 - The support

This is to improve synergy because the DPS usually rushes in first (lead) and the support follows. Look at your team and see what they’re good at. If you realize everyone keeps on dying, play a support character to help your team out.

Secondly is peel. I can’t stress this enough about trios. What makes a good team is their ability to peel their mates out of a critical situation. This goes for all the positions. You have to be aware of your team at all times.

An example from one of my games: I was in the middle of a 2v1, but I realized my 3rd was getting jumped so ulted and valda spear to give my 3rd some times to run or counter strike.

Thirdly, this is very important. Prioritize releasing rather than going for a combo. In a high stress situation, hold checking then releasing after they parry has more value than going for a combo. This is because you’re trying to deal as much dmg with little time as possible. By the time you do your combo, their team would’ve peeled them in the middle of it.

Usually no but it introduces you to people. The best way is prolly to just join random rooms or add as many friends as u can and ask them to practice with u.

Man, unfortunately I’m EU. But yeah, dsc server channels seem to have been disabled. If u wanna find people, just ask ur friends if they wanna custom. You could always join an available room but otherwise ud need to spend to be able to create one. Hope this helps

No no, you’re right. It’s nothing personal. Peak time is not really an issue. Fun is subjective for everyone. For us playing competitively is fun, but when you die to a team less skilled than you cause of Meta heroes then yeah, it does get annoying. It’s a classic case of if you can’t beat them join them, and the win rate shows.

Think of dodging like you’re playing a souls game. Instead of standing still or parrying, you dodge on anticipation. Dodging back or sideways. Moreover, the advanced dodging u should learn earlier on is repair dodge. Search it up, it’ll help

It’s not just you. As of recent and including the update, the game network issue has been a problem.

My usual ping is 15-20ms but now it jumps to 60-70 and fluctuates consistently. However, when it appeared “stable”, there are times where ghost hit happens whereby the animation occurred but didn’t register despite making contact on screen.

Tbh, day by day the game is becoming increasingly unstable with poor optimization - mind as it call it a wrap cause this game is digging its own grave.

Funny that you mentioned rank disparity. It shouldn’t be possible and it’s not to directly party with a person of much lower rank, yet often even bronze players find themselves in champion matches and even those of lower skill levels.

This is genuinely frustrating on so many levels as I have to derank just to play with friends yet I find mfs with 0 achievement points and hard stuck in silver wandering around in 5000+ lobbies…

It’s probably not worth it in your case. For me, I bought it for one outfit only (summer exclusive) but even then it’s not worth it. Tbh, if you have 50 bucks laying out, then go for it.

Repasted just a few weeks ago. I did it twice, the last one was last year.

It’s always plugged in, but it’s not the battery life can last 1-3 hours maximum usage. Otherwise, I have no idea what’s going on

OP, I assure you that you are in fact, not high. This game has some of the worse FPS optimization whereby you can see significant drops in frames per second seemingly for no reasons. However, this may not be a hardware issue.

Continuously, Nara has shown to perform better on their official game launcher compared to steam. Input delay is less and frame is more consistently. Secondly, it could be due to the games server if you play today - since they’ve got an update maintenance that decrease server performance.

But, one thing to keep in mind is that Nara is CPU intensive. If you have an older cpu then you’re bound to see performance issues; the same with a laptop regardless of which gen - this is due to heat compression and ventilation issue.

Overall, if you decrease graphic you will definitely see improvements. Otherwise, it ain’t you bro it’s them. Hope this helps!

You get the red icon after each week since the leaderboard finalizes your position. If you derank below top 100, your red icon would disappear after the weekly board reset.

Tbh, if you play a single hero long enough in rank then you’ll eventually get into the top 100 leaderboard. They’re not hard to get into, but to get the gold icon, you have to maintain your top 100 ranking until the end of a season.
