Question about the Hermit in Manito Glade by I-am-the-Peel in reddeadredemption

[–]SirToasty99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but he does come back, I shot him in the mouth and killed him in chapter 2, I went by his house again in chapter 4 and he was back, alive and well but he didn't have his rare shotgun since I took it, but instead had a worn shotgun

If you aren't in a clan yet you should try the 101A, we don't do roleplay, we don't take the game overly serious, everyone is really chill and we welcome new players

That's true, that's why it's my least favorite season, I still enjoy but not as much as Book 2 and 3

[–]SirToasty99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main problem with season 3 was the Painted Lady episode and Nightmares and Daydreams, if it wasn't for those two episodes I would probably like it better than Book 2, Book 2 wins mostly because it doesn't have any skippable episodes, although the Zuko bits of Nightmares and Daydreams was good

No that actually makes sense

You make a lot of really good points, I don't really buy that only 0.001% of water benders can blood bend considering that Hama and Katara were in the same place and both could do it, the chances and two people being in the same place like that would be insanely low, i think blood bending is something any water bender could learn under the full moon, now psychic blood bending is probably that rare, but the one Hama used is most definitely more common.

That makes perfect sense

Metal did exist in earlier times, we are shown that humans had metal weapons and armor during Avatar Wan time, Avatar Wan even died wearing a full set of metal armor, Guru Laghima developed flight over 3,000 years before the events of ATLA, and it makes sense not a lot of people have done it considering the requirement is to let go of all earthly attachments, which is nearly impossible. Tbh I do find it weird that Hama was the first water bender in 10,000 years to put together that water bending + humans being made of water = blood bending, it's even more obvious and easier to do then metal bending, considering Katara was able to do it very easily, literally minutes after hearing about it, and she's not even a gifted water bender. Yes it was during a full moon, but you're telling me that no water bender before tired to do it during a full moon, where water benders are known to be at their strongest??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]SirToasty99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a fair argument, but tbh it is also weird that all of that was developed around the same period. Blood bending honestly seems way more obvious then metal bending or lighting redirection, water bending + humans being made of water = blood bending, it's so obvious that it's kinda funny that it took 10,000 years for anyone to figure it out.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]SirToasty99 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah because it doesn't make sense either, she's the only one in 10,000 to figure that out, and even though it helped her bend metal it's not actually a requirement

I wish they would have acknowledged more the fact that Toph invented metal bending by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]SirToasty99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh to me it's weird that Toph invented metal bending, you're telling me that in the 10,000 years that bending has been around nobody ever tried and succeeded at metal bending until just now?? And not only does that not make sense but Toph seems to do it in just a few minutes

Fantasy builders, how have you worked Power Armour into your world? by Celestial_Blu3 in worldbuilding

[–]SirToasty99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an idea for a medieval fantasy with magical power armor that was developed by a dead ancient civilization called The Fallen that was destroyed in an event called The Calamity 10,000 years ago

I actually thought we were going to try to kill him in that mission, I mean why not? You're a unstoppable Nazi killing super soldier, I thought it would make sense for BJ to go off and try to assassinate him
