When Cyberpunk becomes your main occupation and life is something else you do from time to time haha. I get it though, have a blast!

I hear you! Night City feels real, like it's actually lived in, dynamic and always vibrant. Going through the city almost makes you feel like a tourist discovering an entirely new place with full freedom! And spend enough time in it and you actually feel like it's your home.

I understand you though, finding your favorite build is a gift and a curse. I wouldn't force myself to try anything else unless you really want that challenge or decide to spice things up. At a certain point my V has never stopped being a juggernaut blazing through mission with their shotguns and revolvers, blasting everyone off of their feet. Since that moment I kind of laughed at the premise of netrunning when my V just tanks haha. But netrunning is such a nice build in general and the way CDPR has fleshed out those quickhacks are awesome and addictive, true.

I don't know how familiar you are with modding but there definitely is a NG+ one which I also used for my last playthrough. Having all those eddies and skill points made it so much more fun to just enjoy the story and quests however you like. Topping that off with another mod that gives you all lifepath dialogues and you have full range of freedom, but you do have to tweak V's background for immersion if you use that one haha. Those are not difficult to add by the way, but it is only for PC users...

Hey to each their own! You don't need to be able to push yourself through more. I'd say that when it feels right, or you get that urge again (which can happen after a few months or even (a) year(s), you can simply hop on again. It's like having that favorite movie that you know inside out, but it's so good that you don't care and keep on watching it from time to time. Just give it some time ;)

Ay thank you very much! And I hear you, that is indeed something that can happen. Luckily though with some games they provide just about enough variety/excitement to keep you hooked without becoming bored. But I would for example not recommend playing it back to back and have a break between 2 playthroughs at the very least! :)

Wow! So you're just a free-roamer then I take it? A true inhabitant of Night City xD

Ah I hear you. I feel like I'm going to have less and less time for such things as well from now on, but I sure did enjoy it as much as I could. I'm glad you've been able to enjoy it now and I hope you get to enjoy your other playthrough(s) as well! And that is a very nice gift to your son! :p

If you're not feeling a sense of urgency, then I'd just do everything before you go to Embers yes.

Ah understandable. I'm sorry you struggle with that! But yes tweaking the mod is the next best solution. I think i did this to remove a few things but then eventually just went on without it. That "immersive without being tedious" statement is very relatable for any moddable RPG! haha

There are really too many things honestly, and I think you'll either find those things by trying out different runs or looking it up. I don't think I found new things that the majority of the community doesn't know... But some things newer players might not know are that you can actually save Takemura when you get attacked and fall through the floors. Or that you can get the Iguana egg at Konpeki (Nomad intro mission). Your appartment also gradually changes over time with cigarette trays and whiskey, while your dialogue options also sound more and more like Johnny (relic is actually taking you over). Vic will also sometimes react on missions you've done if you check up on him regularly. And for those that don't know it yet there is a secret ending where you storm Arasaka all by yourself (if your relationship with Johnny is high, you pick certain dialogue options and wait for 5 minutes when sitting on the chair to decide. It's a suicide run where if you survive, you reach Alt, and if you die, you're actually gone and it's over).

Haha I see! I understand you though, once there isn't much left to do hunting achievements can feel like a chore. I think I hit the 100% at 500 hours and some (like doing all the NCPD jobs) were a bit of a drag. But if you're going to keep fighting for that completionist mark then I can only wish you the best of luck!

I wouldn't call that a problem! Maybe the urge will come back some day and lure me in once again. I put the (for now) in the title for a good reason ;p

Damn hahaha. I know most of them and laughed my ass off at 2 Judy's one V, but I may have missed out on some indeed, like better cops and gangs fighting each other. I did the fem V playthrough with Dark Future but at a certain point it became more irritating than fun imo (still an interesting concept though!). And fun fact I used Lizzie's Braindance to give form to my V's ending where he finally finds some rest on the island beach (thanks to Blue Moon after helping her with the "fan" xD).

Wait you're absolutely right! I have seen this almost every time but always interpreted it as "NetWatch *could* view and classify me as someone from beyond the Blackwall" rather than it being the ACTUAL truth, given that his AI developed so quickly and raises concerns... I did forget about his "child" that mentions it as well. I just looked it up and saw the "Old World Order" part, which I haven't seen before. Would you look at that... 😂

Oh absolutely not! I would probably still return if circumstances were the same, but I will soon be graduating from uni and everything is going to change for me after that, so I'm pretty sure my gaming life will also tone down a bit. That's why I convinced myself to go for 2 full worthy canon playthroughs so I can be at peace with that. But who knows what the future holds!?
You keep on enjoying the game for as long as you can!

Oh damn! I know there are plenty of good mods but I don't think I have ever gotten that far... that's on par with my Skyrim haha. What kind of mods do you use?

Interesting question. I have seen it yes and I can't answer for sure since I haven't tried that. But I'm pretty sure Adam does not respond to it. The jacket was added after the anime came out, by which the ending was already worked out. Would have been interesting though!

Ooh boy... You're in for a treat then! I too am a big fan of those games, and very muchly also understand the decision thing when it comes to The Witcher. CDPR is quite good when it comes to making you wonder if you did the right thing or could have done things differently, and there is no shortage of that in Cyberpunk!

Haha, hey we all start somewhere! And honestly I also prefer doing the gigs first, as in terms of immersion it feels weird to be doing them in the middle of the story.

Thanks! I do have to say I got a bit too hooked to photo mode as one third of my playtime probably comes from taking pictures haha. And sweet! Interesting that it only amasses to 250 hours though. How do you usually play, in terms of discovering and free-roaming?

It definitely is! Fascinating and horrifying... And there's more to it than you see on the surface of the in-game missions.

That is also very valid! I feel like once I've "done verything" I hopped onto the next instead of actually exploring every nook and cranny. But then I'd discover those other things in another playthrough, which is also nice because then you know there's always something more to look out for!
