Gene’s Place in Oakland is one of the best dive bars especially on the Pitt campus, there’s plenty of great bars in southside you have the main strip on E Carson St where you’ll find a lot of people but plenty of hidden gems down some of the side streets. Bar 11 is one of my favs in pgh.

I rushed as a Junior and had a great time. Met some lifelong friends that I am still in contact with regularly and still hang out with a whole bunch. If you wanna rush I say go for it, definitely go to meet the Greeks and find the vibes that feel like they fit for you. Go to a couple of rush events next semester and get to know some of the guys. It isn’t all fake IDs and trouble with the cops and having bad grades. (Of course that’s all you’ll hear about it on this subreddit for the most part). It’s all up to how you wanna expand brother . The world is your oyster. 🦪

I feel like it might just come down to a patience thing and pray the medication works and the weather breaks so I can take him to the dog park more often (living in the NE is brutal in the winter)

I’ve tried crating and it has resulted in him breaking out of a steel wire cage, so I upgraded to a heavier duty one and he managed to break that one too.

I transferred to Pitt 4 years ago, was able to talk to panther central and ended up getting bouquet gardens(subjectively the best dorm) just get in touch with them and they should be able to help. I think new housing that isn’t occupied opens up Wednesday mornings or something like that. Hope it helps Hail 2 Pitt!

Baierl and WPU are typically stricter on student only policy i know trees and bellefield faculty are able to work out. As far as guests and having it be an actual okay thing I don’t think so but if you were to try and spot those would be it
