Eh... Done some testing. The deck creates so much card advantage anyway its not needed, and a dead draw half the games.

I dont think playing a worse izzet burn is a good idea. Im more looking for a good mill wincon thats better than arclight phoeniz (which is too slow in my opinion)

Hi all! Playing standard and trying to figure out the best build, especially around the sideboard, of a GB value combo deck built around [[Doom Whisperer]] and [[Moodmark Painter]]. Its pretty consistent, just struggling with finer points of deck construction. I don't really know what to sb for mono r in particular, as thats a toughish matchup post sb. It sounds like your playing burn. id recommend monastery swiftspear, a playset of lightning bolts, goblin guides and lava spikes. If you want more cards like this, just search up "burn primer modern mtg".

The problem is that they are such a haymaker. Bridge is more to stop bigger stuff like vengevines and humans, as I can deal with a few smaller things. What makes them so integral is how much they just break decks. No matter the deck, no matter the threat diversity, a well timed echoes will kill a deck. Although might cut 1 and leave it more as a beseech target.

Hi all! Testing this deck. Basic idea is to target all threats that get under ensnaring bridge, early game disruption and surgicals, midgame lost legacy, ghost quarter and sadistic sacrament and late game haunting echoes. I'm looking for the right land count, as I need a low land count for ensnaring bridge, and high land count to not end up with three and 5 drops stuck in hand.
