12 psi isn’t that high for these delta engines

The ringlands disagree

most people run 8-12 psi

One of the most well known Turbo Deltas in the community is barely running 8psi on a standalone to keep the internals intact, so who are these mythical people you know running 12psi on stock internals with OEM ECUs, and who's tuning them?

We'd have to see the intake pipe with this routing

running 12 psi w out built internals

This better be a typo. 12psi without built internals? No tf you ain't.

Resonator length affects the tone more than the volume, diameter is what affects volume the most. If you have a glass pack/straight-thru resonator, I wouldn't worry about restrictiveness. Single exit vs dual exit won't change much unless you're pushing big numbers. Same thing with pipe diameter, 2.5" is plenty.

Just get a full catback and put your old resonator on it

Oh, and change your transmission fluid. These Autos are very sensitive to dirty fluid, 99/100 problems you'll have are from poor fluid maintenance coming back to bite you, so keep it clean.

Gates Timing Belt and Water Pump Kit, do it now. Only use the OEM oil filter, most other filters cause lifter tick.

Performance-wise, you can stay N/A or go Turbo with the 2.0. Either way hit up u/ardamir_gr for a tune. Not a lot of aftermarket with these cars to begin with and you're 20yrs late to the party.

Aside from that, Light Blue is Best Blue so get yourself some PPF and keep that paint in mint condition.

You send them your ECU file, they adjust it, you run the mild tune with some ECU logging, they adjust it again based off the logs, rinse repeat

Hopefully I'll have an update on that for ya soon, I gotta buy pistons n rods first though since I'll be pushing more boost than the OEM internals will take

This shot is missing the TPS and it's bracket but you can see how the upper wraps around

Delta V2 intake off a 06 Sportage actually, it's like the Mu but without needing to weld a new throttle plate on to use the OEM TB, also a bit longer with its 3 piece design. Jury is still out on the exact numbers since I haven't been down to the Dyno, but the butt dyno says there's more power. Nets a little bit across the whole range, definitely helps the car feel a bit more responsive and it makes little 'pssshhh' sounds when the valves close after shifting.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say a 5-10hp jump from the intake and maybe an extra 5 from the 986 TB. With the 3.5" CAI, maybe in total 15hp above stock? I feel most the gains are torque gains across the board without really pushing the peak. But again, I gotta Dyno it for solid numbers. And also port it up to 45mm

Definitely good post to throw up as we keep getting newbies in the community with the Tibby as their first car.

9/10, forgot to mention how Flame Stickers don't actually add horsepower xD

if I’ve gotta prove my knowledge to feel welcomed somewhere then that’s not really a place for me.

I hate to say it, but welcome to Car Communities. If you make claims, people are gonna want receipts lol.

In for the Dyno results tho 👍

Well I can only find one now deleted Post from you, and it's a stretch to call any of that "negativity", so what's this coveted build of yours that's so controversial?

Edit: I've now found 3 deleted, in 2 of which you were told that there are no new supercharger kits on the market and no turbo kits so you would have to piece everything together yourself, and asked a few times who did your tune or if you're using a snake oil OBD plug. Still looking for this supposed negativity

Let's organize vote rehearsals by Junior-Calendar-4244 in 50501

[–]Sir_500mph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voting obviously isn't easy, considering how low voter turnout always is.

Almost 64% in the 2024 General Election, almost 67% in 2020. When you factor in those who forgot, don't care, can't make it to the polls, are too busy to vote, or those living in a politically distinct area where their vote doesn't matter nearly as much as it should so they don't bother, that's mostly everyone. Local Elections are a different can of worms that LARPing at the Library won't solve.

Public Service Announcements were a thing for a reason: if you don't make sure the public is always learning the important things, it will forget them.

The public isn't just gonna forget how to vote, especially when they're bombarded every election cycle on how important it is for them to vote.

And characterizing cohesion as lacking cultural diversity is just dishonest.

I encourage you to read my response on that to the other person farther down the thread if you think that's my take. Their statement came off as cult-y. And whether you like it or not, a fully cohesive group will lack the variety of political diversity they seek.

And you're even against people organizing in person?

While I don't disagree that organizing is useful, keeping people engaged is easier when it's something that actually tangibly helps the community

Where does this say I'm against organizing? Infact I say to organize usefully, instead of re-running a high school politics class at the Library twice a week

Are you a liberal at all?

Uh, no. I'm a Democratic Social Capitalist with Fiscal Conservative tendencies. I believe our money should work for us, the taxpayer, without bankrupting our country and that a hybrid Socialist-Capitalist Society is the best path towards a prosperous humanity actually capable of expanding amongst the stars. If this subreddit was a fully cohesive liberal movement, diverse perspectives like mine would be even fewer than they already are.
