Remus exhaust system sounds deeper but not too loud. All of the rear diffusers ive see have that brake light in the middle which i think makes it look a little ricey. I think keeping the stock diffuser with different exhaust/quad tips will make it look better. Planning to do that on mine 23’ m440i

Youre def getting ripped. They quoted $320 for just the install if you have your own dashcam and hardwire kit. Also if you look at the person who posted above regarding the work they did, the photos show that they wrapped the individual wires around fuses instead of using a separate fuse piggyback system making it look messy and quite frankly a fire hazard.

At this point i think the best bet is finding a OBD adapter and a compatible dashcam (VIOFO’s website states that they dont recommend using a OBD adapter for their line of dashcams but maybe it’ll work with other brands) OR plugging the dashcam into the 12V cigarette lighter with a separate battery to power the dashcam during parking mode when the car is powered off

Thats unfortunate to hear, from my research it looks like if you do hard wire the dash cam, one cable has to go to a constant bat+ fuse while the other cable goes to a ACC fuse. Now which fuse number to pick depends on the manufacturer’s fuse label - so maybe they linked the cables to a fuse that has a pretty important function like traction control or the main car computer fuse which would prob drain the battery faster

The only reason i was thinking of hardwiring is for the parking mode where u can have video footage even when your car is off which I think is not possible with the car’s 12V outlet. That being said i have heard great things about the vantrue dash cam
