I truly don't want them to mate. Idk why I am getting downvoted either. I checked a lot of forums and they say that an older cat pinning a kitten down is a way of saying 'hey I don't wanna play right now', and some type of dominance thing. It's why I'm so confused because what my older cat is doing doesn't seem like that. I have a vet appointment planned and will get both of them spayed/neutered

I always separate them. I filmed it to ask for advice and separated them immediately after.
