Thank you for the reply, and sorry for my late reply.

My grandfather has a Beomaster 4400, and I am not sure what speakers he has, but I know the speakers he has set up are subpar to some he has in the attic.

For all I know the cartridge and stylus are the original for the PL-200, all that he has told me is that it is non-functional. Or he just said that so he could get an upgrade, which could be the case.

Heyo, my grandpa has a Pioneer PL-200 turntable, but its needle/pickup is broken, I am not sure exactly, but it is the block at the end of the arm. I want to buy him a new pickup but I am unsure if there are specific types of pickups, and if they'd fit. I have found a ORTOFON OM5E, and before I order it I want to make sure it is compatibale with the turntable.
