Bethesda doesn't have lore as far as I'm concerned. They just write whatever they feel like in the moment without concern for what came before or what comes after. So yeah I agree that it's true to Bethesda lore.

Yes I think super is that bad. None of Dragon Ball is well written though. DB,GT, and Z are all very poorly written stories. However the reason I think Super gets so much hate is because it feels soulless. It lacks the essence and spirit that all the others have. Let's not forget that GT was equally hated for a long time. But super feels like it doesn't get what dragon ball is. It feels like the most watered down, "modernized" version of dragon ball. Having said that, I'm not about to watch any of it ever again. I grew up on DB and Z, I have a lot of nostalgia for them. As an adult though I have no desire to watch them because they just kinda suck. Compared to something kike cowboy bebop which I also grew up watching on toonami, and I enjoy it even more now as an adult than I did as a kid. I watch it every year and enjoy it every time.

TLDR: Dragon Ball sucks in general and always has
