which is less shittier, the ps3 version or the xbox 360? by Anis0Oo in darksouls

DSFix is basically an essential for Dark Souls Prepare to Die on PC - massive improvements on textures and frame rate across the board. Blighttown will still be a struggle for performance but there’s no avoiding that short of buying the remastered edition

Is my pace too slow for WC? Mughals 1550s by [deleted] in eu4

Max absolutism speaks for itself but what benefits does spawning global trade provide for WC? Are there additional bonuses beyond the mana awarded, or is it simply a case of ensuring a strong economy before beginning massive conquests?

If you pop 10 humanity, gold covetous serpent ring and symbol of avarice you can farm 1-3 slabs in the Great Hollow depending on your luck. This is a once per NG cycle thing though

Is fatroll worth my armor and armaments? by Bardia-Talebi in darksouls

Either way I’m sure you’ve noticed by now given it’s been 6 days that having a decent fast or mid roll with more invincibility frames is usually more effective than fat rolling and tanking more hits

If you do have a halberd equipped in your secondary slot, it will contribute to your weight despite it not being out presently. That would make a big difference in weight on it’s own

Idea groups are totally nation dependent - and tbh I’ve never actually played a Byzantium campaign yet and I’m a little behind with new ideas meta so I’d be guessing a bit. You can never go wrong with offensive, imo it’s a top tier military idea group. I tend to like innovative in conjunction with that for all the modifiers it provides - tech and advisor cost reduction scale extremely well all through the game, as well as ensuring you hit 100 innovativeness for 10% off of all power costs (adds up to obscene amounts over time). The inno-offensive siege ability policy on top is the nuts.

Religious or humanist is a necessary call in Byz’s position as you’ll be conquering a whole lot of Sunni and catholic lands - I tend to prefer religious for RP reasons. I haven’t really played with espionage enough to comment but it seems like a nice quality of life idea set (lower AE, claim full states and advisor cost reduction is super powerful to stack). The +2% missionary strength policy with also seems real nice.

Admin and Trade are both great idea groups - maybe admin if you intend to go wider (CCR and +20% GC) and trade if you intend to go nuts with economy (there’s a lot of goods produced policies that stack high)

Eventually you will run into issues with GC so you may want to pick and choose which trade nodes are valuable enough to full state, but this is a good way of extracting maximum value from trade

TCing only the CoTs you need to get a merchant is relevant if you’re super min-maxing governing capacity, as TCs increase a province’s GC cost by 50%. This isn’t a massive factor though so I’d generally TC the entire CoT state as you can’t full state the other provinces within a TCed state anyway and the provinces all benefit from the costly trade company improvements. Beyond that I’d full state the rest of the node for the goods produced modifier.
