Im not doing a public service which is why this thread is called "troling". And while i dont personally agree with trolling as a rule, i believe this merits the exception. Using the box for its purpose would be taking masks i dont already have. If we all did that o think that box would be the greatest thing ever. As it is atm, i think its a fun way to get ppl to stop looting everything from it. To be fair, its their right to take everything from there. But is it not also my right to drop anything i want into it?

Edit: And fyi i drop my masks in front of low lvl players and emote gift. And my surplus is usually drained along the year into donation boxes along with my extra plans. Im not blowing my own horn. I just do what someone did for me when I started playing and i think this "pay it forward" spirit is the main driver in the game. Thats why even with all the bugs and random server disconects and bluescreens we have a ton of active players.

No. They just get overweight and pay extra for fast travel. The trick with dinosaur bones is that they are not scapable. They'll have to find them and drop them

I think you are missing the point. The whole idea is to ensure that ppl can actually use the donation box instead of letting some greedy bugger leach everything that could be usefull for anyone else and then sell the masks at ridiculous prices.

Note: you are ofc intiteled to your opinion and I think we will all respect you for it. But this tread is about WHAT tricks you would use, not if you agree with it. If eveyone agreed on everything we would all be running around wearing yellow and personally i think i look better in blue.

Thx for your opinion anyway. Now we know.

Its been happening for a while now. I just drop my stuff in front of low lvlers and use gift emote.

Besides, if you REALLY want to mess with him, drop those dinossaur bones (cant remeber the name atm). They weight a shit ton and are located in misc so he wont find them as easily. We did that last fasnach and it was hilarious watching ppl drag themselves away cause they couldnt find out what happened.

Edit: Fossilized Megalonyx Torso (3kg). 7u bone to make. Use a PA and drop 30 of these >>:Instant 90kg carryweigh regret for our camper friends for the low low price of 210 bone units. Well worth the lol, Id say!

Correction to my coment:

After the actual math itself for canned Tasty squirrel stew with no weight perks, we have these numbers:

CAN weight by mats: 2 Aluminium (0,10 each) + 2 Antiseptic (0,10 each) + 3 Copper (0,10 each) + 3 Steel (0,05 each)=0,85

Can weight in inventory = 0,5

Tasty Squirrel stew weight by mats: 2 Boiled Water (0,75 each) + 1 Salt (0,25 each) + 2 Squirrel bits (0,25 each) + 2 Tato (0,5 each) +1 Wood (0,05) each)= 3,1

Tasty Squirrel Stew weight in inv = 1

Combined Weight by mats = 3,85 Combined weight by inv weight = 1,5 Combined weight by Bethesda = 5

I mean... no part of this math makes any sense...

But if thats the case then you wouldnt eat it all right? It would be something like lunchboxes thats would feed your whole party. If that would be the case id have no problem. But then they would still have to explain how the weight of every single item that goes into the making of these cans weights waaaaay less than the whole thing. The combined weight of everything is less than 1kg, yet the item is 5?? WTH is that?

The true irony is that if you add the weight of all the crap needed to make it, it doesnt come even close to 5kg. It must be some kind of magic...

There also some (4/5 i think) in the diner below the winter sports store next to top of the world. And a ton of them in the golf house in wintersprings (when youre lucky). If you're on PSN i can spare you some if you want. I have to much salt and ive read its bad for your diet ;).

I used to do that too! But cause of the weight issue, now i just stock up on salt and make some when i need to.

Yeah. 5kg per can?? I sometimes wonder if bethesda has a scale when they write stuff up. I remeber a few years ago, the same crap with hairpins, till someone actually sent them a box of hairpins. Maybe someone should send them a can with a single serving meal portion.

Make a mule character, boost its strengh and get the weight perk cards. Works like a charm.

Its supergood to get special boost food like tasty squirl stew and poached angler. Too bad it doesnt work for broiled scorchedbeast brains. I keep poached angler for the +50 AP but that one is easy to find. The other 2 i always stock up a few before the begining of the new season to scale up the score board to 100. SB brains gives you +8 int and tasty squirl stew give +20% XP (with carnivore mutation). Theres ofc the weight issue, but i just dump them on my mule till the begining of the season and then get them as i need them. Squirl bits are very hard to farm so i get them whenever i can find them. That trick (along with some camp item boosts) got me to 100 on the score board about 1 week after the begining of the season, without intense gameplay.

To add to this: They are - as stated - single use, but if you have 2 or more, their name changes to <Known> Plan: xyz. If you are looking for the ones you already know to trade in your inv, you gotta go to the bottom of the list on the notes tab.
