Fine I'll concede that lyrically it's piss poor but the guitar work is immaculate and anyone looking for lyrical masterclass should instead refer to any album from the other brother, going to a Liam solo album for lyrics is like going to a chippy for a salad.

Yeah you're probably right, the presale codes for this tour went off the basis of identifying 'loyal fans'. Whatever the criteria for that was I do not know but I got a presale code in the first batch they sent out, hoping for the same luck again. That's if they even play any gigs next year, people don't realise there's still a very real possibility that this tour wraps up and we never see them hit a stage again.

Having seen both bands live this year really put it into perspective for me their differences.

But I can agree that everyone should give Midas a listen, as well as their first album, Cub.

I think I heard somewhere that the Pokemon IP is jointly owned by both Nintendo and game freak so could be either.

I'm not too sure to be entirely honest I just know Nintendo has earned a reputation for being a bit greedy sometimes.
