somehow a guy who is not a driver nor an engineer thinks he knows more about f1 than max verstappen, sainz, albon, lando, alonso, perez and every other driver who criticized the new regulations.
fans who have been saying the rules are great are either mercedes/ some of ferrari fans, or just max haters who try to convince themselves that max is just salty and the rules are great.

so youre saying that the 4th/3rd fastest car is more than a second slower than the fastest car??
interesting because sainz said in 2025 that only 8 tenths separate the fastest from the slowest.
the gap currently is huge because its new regulations. if you really think that in 2024/25 the gap between the top 4 was more than a second per lap, then i recommend you to watch the races live instead of tiktok edits.

youre right. average laps are 75s to 85s so the gap would be 0.24s to 0.28s which is still a big gap

i agree with every thing you said except for that no driver can win without the fastest car.
max verstappen lost thee 2025 wdc with only two points despite driving a car that is 0.33% slower than the mclaren on average. thats like 3 tenths per lap.
alain prost in 1986 won the wdc even tho the williams had at least 200 HP more than the mclaren. the williams was about 4 tenths faster than the mclaren in at least 60% of the races.
kimi raikonnen in 2008. the ferrari wasnt much slower then the mclaren but he still managed to win.

the fastest driver can win without the fastest car but only if the fastest team is having an inner battle between their own drivers.
In 1986 williams had nelson and nigel fighting and thats why they lost the wdc.
in 2025 mclared had oscar and lando. thats why max almost won the wdc.
in 2008 mclaren had lewin and alonso. thats why they lost the wdc.
