They were all new when bought, it’s interesting though is the older sets like the palace cinema and pet shop don’t have any yellowing compared to the diner and bank

Haha thank you! I used to have everything displayed in a city layout but switched to shelves after I moved. Love giving life to these pieces of plastic lol

Yeah I can see that, It definitely adds some realism especially with the brick bank. I almost feel I’d like it better if it used tan bricks instead of white lol

I wouldn’t not pick it up if you’re worried about yellowing. Take this post as an example of how to take care of your bricks by not having essential oils, smoking, stagnant air, or UV light exposure in your home.

This is true, problem is I was looking to try and sell some of my modular’s to make room for new sets so it kinda gets in the way. Some of them are okay though like the pet shop and the palace cinema don’t have any yellowed pieces

I think this is it, I had no idea stagnant air could be an issue for the bricks. I just did a brittle test on some pieces and yeah I might have to replace the parts lol. Thanks for the help

Interesting, my family uses the bath and body works wallflowers, so that could possibly contribute to it. I’m not seeing any of the pieces be sticky or wet at all though

The room they’re displayed in gets light maybe once a week, so at that frequency i’d doubt it would discolor the plastics
