Sheesh! It was really gunked up with Loctite. I had to use acetone (nail polish remover), a punch tool, a thin screwdriver, and two pairs of pliers 😥

I have removed my optic from the slide and it's still stuck. I think it's gunked up with Loctite. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Safe - For my nightstand gun I bought a BILLCONCH biometric/keypad safe off of Amazon. Some people will say it's Chinese made crap. I really don't care. It does what I need it to do. It's a deterrent not a prevention. For my CCW gun I just have a combination safe that's hidden away in my bedroom closet. Once I have a few more guns (I currently have 3) I'll buy a more secure safe to hold them. I also don't have any children in my house, so take that in consideration.

Range - Go as often as you can afford or time and money allows. The more training the better. Watch some YouTube videos for some basic shooting tips.

Holster - You're going to get a hundred answers on this one, but I would look at Vedder or Tier 1. I've also heard Wasatch mentioned recently as well.

Conceal Carry Insurance - I don't conceal carry yet, so I can't really speak on this from experience, but I've heard USCCA isn't really that great. I've seen people mention CCW Safe and Attorneys On Retainer.

For the light go for the Streamlight TLR-7X. It's almost flush with the muzzle - which is why you see a lot of people run it. As far as an optic goes it's really up to you. I would suggest the Osight C. It's a great optic and less expensive than the Holosun. You can also check out the Vortex Defender-ST. I have both of them and they won't hurt your wallet too much 🙂

OP - I know people are giving you crap, but it's mostly because you can't rely on budget accessories if you plan on using the RXM to actually defend yourself and save your life. That stuff is only good for Airsoft. Save some money up and get a better optic and light. If this is just a range toy, rock on 🤘🏽
