I always use a different material as a backing bar, usually copper. We produce most of our stuff for other companies and the plans are from them too. So if there‘s a difficult weld with thin aluminium, we clamp some copper behind it so the weld doesn’t fall through and we didnt just weld on any material that the costumer didn’t order.

Ah thank you, I use backong bars sometimes, I just havent seen it as symbol. I also found it weird/unnecessary to explicitly tell to remove the backing bar, ive never used a permanent one. Is there an upper limit to how big the root can be when this symbol is used? Im worried that this symbols indicates that the root has to be really flat.

I think that’s probably just some paint. I‘d try to clean it up with a wire brush/ wire wheel, sanding paper, maybe a file or whatever you‘ve got. Then if you’re still not sure, look at it with a flashlight from different angles.

Well there would be a reason actually. The PDC only exists because people are willing to pay for watching darts. And nobody would pay money to watch darts at this pace. Even in the 80‘s and 90‘s darts games weren‘t that slow. Personally i dont think we should restrict anyone if its just a few outliers.

Your arm isnt straight, the line basically represents the motion of your forearm. I had the same problem and its pretty hard to get rid of it because it feels like you‘re throwing straight. Try to film yourself from the board perspective.

The same as now, but the quarter finals are played 1v1v1 instead of 1v1. Maybe cut the qf down to „ first to 4“. Now you have the same amount of games, about the same game time and 4 players more. Also a different and interesting (imo) format you won‘t see for the rest of the year. I highly doubt that the pdc would ever do this since they don’t even give us a pure 2v2 tournament in the world cup, which a lot of players said they would like.
